Great neighborhood gem! The food there is always delicious. I've had their bagels and soups for takeaway lunch a few times, also went to eat curry, and have some cocktails. And visited on Thursday nights when they have a taco pop-up, where I've had the best tacos in London, hands down! The food is prepared by Taco Loco Highgate. And some spicy margaritas to wash it all down. I would highly recommend it! And if the weather allows, their small terrace at the back is a hit.

Despite the lovely pictures shown here and the positive reviews I have to share that we were very disappointed.

Feb 2025. My bagel was overcooked - burnt and dry - I could hardly get my teeth into it, and the Mediterranean veg filling was only roasted tomato - no peppers or aubergine or courgette. My friend ordered porridge but the oats were almost raw and over sweetened.

And service was slow. Was the chef on holiday? I don’t think a self-respecting cook would serve up what we were given.

To their credit they didn’t charge me for my bagel when I gave feedback. And it was a warm comfy space in the middle of a cold urban walk.

I hope others experience is better.

An interior compromising separate seating areas and a bijou “garden arrangement” suggesting an ethos more grounded in our-house than Bauhaus : cosy, homely and welcoming: irreverent and casual.
A flirt of cake, lite-bites and more substantial meals.
Vegan options.
A random selection of cards, prints, gifts, wine and miscellanea.

We hosted a small charity training day at this back of cafe and it went really well! The bagels were really tasty and the blueberry muffins were absolutely delicious.
Thanks to the team for hosting us, really appreciate the friendliness and flexibility!

The chia latte was too syrupy and the matcha latte of low quality matcha and full of lumps!! Worst cups of lattes we’ve ever had. The shop is cute and service is nice however feel being watched. Be aware you need to spend at least £5 per person to use laptop. Will not be returning.

Here for Stella’s Malaysian pop up. Had vegan set menu of starter, mains and dessert. Price was way more than expected. Food was nice and enjoyable, but not amazing. Was the food nice? Yes. Will I come back here for the 2nd time? Maybe not.

Very lovely person serving us. But we were the only people there on a Friday night! The chicken & potato curry was basically soup with a tiny piece of potato and a little chicken at the bottom. The roti were shop bought out the freezer and the carrot cake was very ordinary. Lovely little place, but not great at all unfortunately. Edit: reduced to 1 star based on owner not knowing how to copy & paste replies properly, not understanding one paratha isn't enough for a bowl of curry soup, thinking 2 curries being sold in one night makes it their most popular dish and yes you're right, as a rule, carrot cake is delicious. Yours is something else! 😄
