We have hired the pool before for an hour and it didnt quite feel long enough, for the older teens. The you g one was more than happy.
We wanted something a little different for fathers day this year. We needed time to relax but physically do something, when everyone is busy, we thought why not go for the tea and spa deal.

My husband said he couldn't believe it, it was perfect tucked out the way, left to our own devices, we could swim, relax in the hot tub or sauna room.
Everything was so relaxed.

The tea was fantastic, three out of four of us that went this tome have allergy's.
We were all catered for accordingly. The table was beautifully set, the finger sandwiches fresh and then lots of cakes and scones all looked homemade. They were honestly lovely.
Thank you we will be back.

I was disappointed with the overall experience. It feels like you have the right idea and it could be something special with improvements.

When we first walked to door the property looked dreary and unloved.

The building inside needs structural improvements. It was very cold, bathroom was freezing and the toilet didn’t flush.

The hot tub has some broken parts on it and the jets etc didn’t work properly. Also struggled to fit 4 people in.

You mentioned the pool lining yourself but there was a lot of dirt in the shallow end of the pool which lead us to not using it.

The sauna was lovely but the changing rooms felt dirty and worn and the shower didn’t work. The base filled up with water which didn’t fill us with confidence. The curtains and walls have mould, this needs attended to.

The green carpet around the pool was damp and dirty from the condensation dripping from the ceiling.
This is not hygienic and from a H&S point of view quite worrying along with rusty chandeliers.

The afternoon tea was nice, sandwiches lovely but quite overwhelmed with the quantity of cake. Our families did enjoy it as we didn’t want it being wasted. Again we had water dripping from the ceiling onto the food and drink.

We all felt cold and damp by the end.
I don’t feel we had our moneys worth especially as we left early.

Absolutely amazing, a great set up, totally exclusive to your booking. The pool is lovely and a great temperature. Nice spacious changing rooms with a shower. There is also a sauna. And the hot tub is amazing. The afternoon tea was lovely with a selection of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and a selection of cakes with unlimited tea,coffee and soft drinks. The host is lovely and leaves you to relax for the time you have. It was a very much needed relaxing afternoon and will definitely be booking again. Thankyou ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wanted to treat my daughter to a spa day for her 21st birthday and was expecting to have to travel a couple of hours. However, after searching for a “spa near me” I found The Hidden Secret near Wisbech and couldn’t believe this amazing private spa, with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna was on my doorstep and I certainly wasn’t expecting to find a private spa in Wisbech?! And I also wasn’t expecting to be able to hire a whole spa for 3 hours with afternoon tea for just £100 (£50 each for my daughter and I)! Unbelievably good value. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything and used the jacuzzi, sauna and pool several times, over the course of 3 hours. If you’re looking for a high end spa experience then stick to champneys, raffles and aqua sana at centre parcs, etc. But I, personally, just wanted something private and it was an absolutely luxury to have the whole place to ourselves. We made special memories today and will definitely be returning. Thanks so much 🙏 ☺️

We went on a package of 3 hours spa with afternoon tea. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were freshly prepared and nice. The pool was nice too but had a sort of crinkly liner at the base, rather than tiling, felt a bit odd if you walked about. The sauna was lovely and warm, though would have been rather cosy for more than 2 or 3 people. The jacuzzi was fairly warm and again was suitable for a maximum of 3 people. The bathroom was wet on the floor and on the wall tiles, and there was a problem with the toilet filling up too much and not emptying properly when flushed. We noticed all the radiators in the building were getting rusty, so I don't know if this and the bathroom wetness were due to condensation. The spa building was unusual as it had an internal kitchen, open plan to the sitting areas and pool, as well as the bathroom, sauna, shower, and changing areas. The strangest thing of all was the internal decor, a mismatch of hanging items and items on shelves, no particular theme, with hanging chairs and number of sofas which didn't seem suitable for people who were likely to be wearing wet swimwear.

Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub hidden in fenland village! Ideal place for few chilled hours followed by lovely little afternoon tea. Slightly quirky decorations and with humidty there is some corrision and mould spots in places but to be expected.

I do not recommend 😞 😐 , jacuzzi and the floor that leads to the sauna is dirty, temperature in the shower is faulty , sauna wasn't ready when I arrived , the experience was very poor but what I can say, the pluses, I had a 40% refund of my money and the swimming pool is Good 👍. That's why I give 1 out of 5.

Well, what can I say, my whole experience from booking, to my actual spa day was brilliant. All my queries were answered and communication was excellent. My session was so relaxing and peaceful and the afternoon tea was simply superb, all the cakes are homemade and just delightful. I would highly recommend The Hidden Secret, it is a little gem.😍
