Just had the best day of our lives at the above location. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful perfect. From when we booked the venue for our wedding and meeting David to the event it self with assistance of Shaun and the team. It was overall fantastic. The way everything flowed. Being informed of every step. The food was absolutely incredible from canapés to the 3 course wedding breakfast then the evening reception sandwiches and salad all was amazing.. The room that came with our package for the night myself and my bride stayed in was perfect which included another fantastic meal being a breakfast. Overall we couldn't of asked for more from the day and it lined up amazingly. Thank you Fincham Farmhouse you were everything and more.

We will return. See you on our 1st year anniversary.

A great location, nice and quiet. The staff are great and very welcoming. The room was perfect for me, I was staying on my own. The bed was really comfortable but didn’t feel super sturdy, maybe just needs some screws tightening. May I also suggest a blackout blind? A lot of light comes in through the curtain and at least that would give visitors the option of blocking out some of the light. Overall a very nice, comfortable stay 🙂

Recently spent a couple nights at the farmhouse for my dad’s wedding at the weekend and all the staff were so so lovely and really made the day so special for all of us. Everyone always had a smile on their faces and couldn’t thank all the staff enough. The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfy! Food was absolutely stunning as well. Thank you to Alice, Alise, Millie, Nathan and everyone else! 5 star experience ☺️

Disappointed with the overall appearance of the room, the chairs were uncomfortable, there was not enough space for toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the food was good but they ran out of milk on our second morning, no cerial and uht in our tea. So unprofessional.

Visited for afternoon tea, what a wonderful experience, lovely surroundings, accompanied by a fantastic afternoon tea, there is a choice of savoury or traditional. John was very attentive the tea was served with a lovely choice of sweet and savoury, the freshly baked scones melted in your mouth, everything on the plate was delicious, highly recommended.

I was there for work, and the accommodation is great. The typical residence-style rooms are basic, but warm and pleasant. The sink has individual taps and no mixer, which is bizarre. The food here is wonderful, and the service is extremely nice. Prices are in line with the UK. The currency rate is adverse to people coming from the Eurozone.

Lovely location, looks great when you drive in. The positives first,the reception and restaurant are very nice and staff are friendly. However, that’s where it ends. The room I was in was in a “lodge”, they appear to be units fitted into a wooden lodge,they call them “stable” rooms. There were 3 single rooms in the lodge I was in. Now I feel I was very lucky because the one night I was there the other rooms were not booked but I can only imagine how noisy it would be if all rooms were occupied. That said, the unit inside was very clean, outside was awful, spiders webs all over the doors, window. I understand it’s out in the country but a brush down now and again would be beneficial. No wifi at all out of the main building, apparently a “recent” issue. Dogs everywhere, barking so again, nothing against dogs but irresponsible owners just letting them bark with no thought for other guests. Not somewhere I would return to.

We had high expectations when we booked into the farmhouse at Fincham, as I have been watching the business for sometime on Facebook. ||Upon arrival on Saturday afternoon, we were so disappointed when we asked if we could get coffee and cake and were told no, and sent into Downham market. What a missed business opportunity, we went into Swaffham and had coffee and cake and spent £22. We would happily have spent that on site rather then having to travel further after our initial journey. |When we went into our room, we were disappointed. The room is tatty, not very clean and needs attention. There are spiders to accompany you in the corners and in the bathroom, and the mat on the floor needs cleaning, it has grass and dog hairs on it and just looks grubby. ||Breakfast on Sunday morning was poor. According to the website, food is locally sourced, which it may be if you have bought it from a local cash and carry. ||Whilst this is a poor review, it makes me sad that this business appears to be struggling. Sadly, we won’t be coming back as we have always had a far better experience at the Crown Lodge in Outwell at a comparative, if not better price.| |The owners of the farmhouse at Fincham could do well by paying a visit to the Crown at Outwell to see how well a business like this can be run to provide a good customer experience.
