We had the most fantastic one night stay at this wonderful unique and historic hotel. The Manager was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated and perfect in every way. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was superb with a huge variety of things to eat. Overall we can't recommend this hotel highly enough - it really was a truly relaxing and memorable place to stay in reach of so many interesting places to visit including Stamford and Ely.

What a lovely place and a welcoming and friendly couple who run it. I was let down very late at a different hotel and they were able to help me out late on. Rooms are lovely, the house is beautiful with lots of history, there’s parking available, it’s right in the centre close to shops and restaurants and the breakfast is excellent. I will return!

This is a lovely place . We had booked in for one night but needed to have my elderly father staying with us instead of him staying at other relatives. This was due to him having had a fall earlier in the week . Richard sorted out alternative rooms with no problems. Rooms were very clean lovely soft towels and comfy bed . Breakfast freshly cooked and as much as you could eat . The hosts very friendly couldn’t do enough for you . Would definitely stay again thank you ! And the music festival was brill !

I absolutely loved the ambience of this lovely old hotel. Rich blues, stunning wallpapers, an eclectic mix of interesting paraphernalia adorning the dining room made it a pleasure to behold. Staff were super friendly and chatty and even allowed me a complimentary continental breakfast because I hadn’t booked a b&b. |I only stayed one night but the divinely comfy bed I’ll remember for long after. I’ll try and find a reason to return to Holbeach so I can come again. Thankyou!

Large individual house in central position in Holbeach, retaining many interesting period features. Lovely full English breakfast cooked to order by the friendly hosts. As it was a beautiful day we enjoyed eating outside on the secluded patio at the rear. There is some private parking at the hotel and extra private parking just a couple of houses along.
All in all, top of the range for a three star hotel.

We had a three night stay in one of the Old Post Office apartments and thoroughly enjoyed it. So nice to able to stay all together as a family with the added bonus of being able to bring our little dog. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with everything you could need. A great central location, ample free parking and the hosts Sam & Richard are friendly, helpful and very efficient. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back again.

I had two weeks stay at the Mansion House Hotel, from the pictures can be deduced my review.
If you need heating need to ask for it, never seen something similar.
No reception
At least I was expecting to have a clean room.
I m sure the owner will be able to motivate my review with a contradictory argument that it’s an old building

What a fabulous weekend we had! Welcomed by the lovely hosts Sam & Richard! They were just so accommodating & helpful. The whole set up is wonderfully quirky & full of love & attention. We stayed in mouse hole cottage, very well equipped & comfy! Felt very at home! The breakfast was amazing! There was everything!!! Beautifully cooked breakfast! Best poached eggs! We didn’t eat until the evening as it was so filling & yummy! We ate alfresco one morning, with it all set up ready for us, then dinned in the second morning in the giro breakfast room, full of interest & memorabilia! Would highly recommend!! Thanks for a fab stay, really enjoyed chatting to you both. X
