What a gem of a find. Beautiful building and room. Super clean and comfortable and smells devine. The view from the large and roomy bedroom was idyllic. This is the best place I’ve stayed in a while. Phillip was really helpful and super friendly.

Excellent stay, lovely accommodation. We felt so at home, there was even a fridge which was very useful, fresh milk was provided which was a great touch.|I bring my own because usually its not provided. our room was very tastefully decorated very comfy bed. could not fault our room. Well done to Adele and Philip excellent hosts.

Needing a nice place to stay while we attended a family event locally we opted for a couple of nights to make it a little bit of a mini break as well and really weren't disapointed by our choice of accomodation. the building clearly has a lot of history to it but has been respectfully modernisied to give all the currently desired comforts with pleanty of old world charm.
The breakfast was very nice while i was a little unadventourus slecting the cooked breakfast two days in a row that was simply because it was so nice the first time around. that said seeing some of the other options coming out no matter what you choose you are not going to be disapointed.

A warm West Yorks welcome from Adel & Phillip for whom nothing was too much trouble.||Shibden Hall View is a very special place. Exactly as advertised: rooms were lovely & spotlessly clean; loved sitting in the evening sun on the terrace; and the breakfast was fab!||You can absolutely tell that Adel & Phillip are experienced hospitality professionals. We felt instantly at home & looked after, spoiled even. So staying with them is a treat!||Definitely somewhere we'd recommend to friends. In fact, we already have.||Next time we're up that way, this is our preferred place to stay.

Friendly little guest house with good quality and large rooms (we were in an annex) and a nice breakfast. Walking distance from local pubs and a short taxi ride from both Halifax centre and nice restaurant at shibden mill. Would recommend..

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting the area. We were out & about most of the visit but everything was very nice with fantastic views from the terrace. Our room was well equipped with a Smart TV , great shower & spotlessly clean and we had a lovely comfy king size bed .

A fabulous nights stay in this stunning place. Hosts unbelievably warm and friendly to the point of upgrading our room as a birthday gift from them to my husband. Comfortable and tastefully decorated historic home. Superb views and to complete the stay one of the best full English breakfasts we have had. Our compliments to Philip and Adele we would love to stay again in your beautiful home x

A lovely place to spend a romantic night or family fun if you like walking and nature. Shibden Mill Inn just down the road for fantastic food. A must for Anne Lister, with many of the rooms named after her family. Lovely hosts, avoid booking on Booking.com as it's more expensive.
