I had joint birthday party her for my partner and also my nan. The function room is a good size I believe, we had around 60people overall including children. They were able to provide a dj and delt with catering. We had hot beef and hot pork sandwiches. Also French bread pizza, hot sausage rolls and fries and wedges. The food was really good and very well priced. |Everybody who attended had a good time and enjoyed the food. Also need to thank james who communicated with me throughout the night regarding what time the food would come out and delt with any issues I may have had straight away. He also put the fa cup final on the tv in the function room while I was setting it up 4 the party.|I was allocated 10 rooms at a discounted price for people coming to the party which included breakfast. (Breakfast was nice)|The rooms were really clean and bed was super comfy.|Overall I would highly recommend this place for your parties and if you are just using the hotel for a stay I would highly recommend that aswell|Thank you to all the staff involved with our party you all did a brilliant job

Perfect location for gigs at The Piece Hall....just yards away. Paid car park really close by. Very friendly staff...they stored our bags for us as we arrived too early to check in|At check in they took £100 room deposit which I wasn't expecting but it was returned very quickly. |Room was decent size with sofa bed in it as well as double bed but was very tired, clean enough but really in need of renovation..for £180 per night I'm not sure it was value for money.|Tea and coffee making facilities.|Only one towel in the room for 2 people|Bed ok but pillows poor quality.|It was an extremely hot day and there was no fan or A/C.. |Shower good and powerful. |Extremely good freshly cooked breakfast. |Because of the excellent location and lovely staff I may stay there again but it would need to be much better value.

Positives :Location is amazing for concerts. Staff are very friendly

Negatives :The room I had , I slept on top of the bed. I didn’t dare get into it. The room wasn’t clean, there were marks on everything. Wasn’t able to change rooms as they were fully booked. The shower was leaking all night , the floor and bed squeaked with every single move. I got up at 6am and left after not being able to sleep. Such a shame as the staff are fantastic but the rooms need care desperately. See booking.com for real reviews on this hotel not just google.

The hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only downside is the lack of lift so have to carry bags upstairs although a lovely young gent offered to help me up.

I would recommend this place and I would stay again if I visit Halifax.

Staff were amazing! After a mess up from booking .com, the staff were so helpful, sorted us out with another hotel, free parking and were so accommodating whilst arranging a new place for us to stay. Handled the stress so well and arranged our refund. Would be the first place we booked if we visit Halifax again

Imperial Crown Hotel is in an older building, but the rooms are very clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the location is excellent—right in the centre of Halifax and next to the Piece Hall, making it easy to explore the city on foot. It’s a quiet and peaceful place to stay, but the hotel could use some renovations, particularly the addition of an elevator for convenience. Parking is close by, but it’s on a steep hill and can be a bit difficult, so improvements there would really enhance the overall experience.

Went last week for a family wedding.

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and modern. The area is not to bad.

Drinks are reasonably priced. And the hotel price is fair.

Not a lot of choices in Halifax but it has one of the better locations. In a relatively quiet part of the center. The bed was comfortable but small like the room. The bathroom was nice. If the bed was a little bit bigger I would have given them four stars.
