This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Our hostess Maria kept us updated the whole time via email and phone calls. On arrival the room was spotless and spacious and full of little touches including an iron and ironing board a well as a sewing kit. The full English breakfast was lovely and Maria was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help us make the most of our visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Field View and will be returning.

What a lovely place to stay. Lovely room, fantastic breakfast. Wonderful host. |Breakfast was fantastic, with the freshest eggs ever. The hens live at the top of the garden! |Nothing was too much to ask.|There is a fridge in the lounge and a microwave, if needed, oh and a TV,... it was so nice to be able to chill out. |If you like cricket, the local club is across the road. It has a bar, or so i'm told. |The pub in the village serves fantastic food and everyone is friendly. |We will definitely be back.|Thanks Maria. X

What a lovely stay we had. Maria was very helpful and contacted the Black Swan to book a table for dinner, as well as suggesting other food venues. The room was excellent and a very good size for 3 of us, with an equally good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and made at a time convenient to us. She accommodated our dietary requirements as well, making sure no-one was left hungry. The garden was very pretty, as were the surroundings. Wifi worked well and we parked on the drive. We will be back.

Excellent B & B. Nice room, good shower, comfy bed. Nice big Tele. Toiletries and hospitality tray provided.|Breakfast is excellent, and you can choose from a wide selection, Maria will accommodate whatever is required. Beautiful gardens to walk round/sit in if weather permits.|Nice village location, but close enough to visit many surrounding p!aces of interest.|

An absolutely excellent place to stay, and we will definitely be returning. Maria made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfasts were delicious, and the dining room very welcoming and comfortable.||||We cannot recommend this B&B too highly.

We booked in 2020 as we were coming to a wedding in the area. Due to Covid 19 the wedding postponed until October 2021. Maria kept the date for us and I am so happy that she did. From the week before we were due to arrive she was fantastic. She helped with local taxi numbers, asked if we would a table at the local pub for food the day we arrived and was just helpful. The accommodation was outstanding. It was so clean and she had thought of everything you might need. The breakfast was gorgeous and a big choice too. I would 150% recommend this B&B and if I ever visit the area again it will be a must stay.

We were supposed to stay in this B&B for 2 nights back in October as we were attending a wedding nearby. Unfortunately we had to leave after one night as we had heavy colds and due to the current Covid times, thought it was only right to leave for home. We were sad to leave as Maria was so lovely and accommodating. The B&B was absolutely immaculate! My first thoughts walking in was how clean and fresh it smelt! The beds were comfortable and dispute feeling under the weather, we felt very relaxed after a long day of travelling. We will definitely stay again when we’re next due to visit our friends and we would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Maria and sorry we had to leave on such short notice. Natalie & Tom.
