Booked a pod with a hot tub for a last minute break and can’t fault this place. Absolutely beautiful. The pod has everything you need and the sofa and beds are very comfortable. The staff on the park are brilliant. We will definitely be returning.

This site has 3 parts - owner/occupier, holiday rental and touring field for tents/vans/caravans. The holiday rental area (18+ yrs only) is currently only 12 high-quality, relatively new caravans. |The site has no facilities apart from fishing lakes so, whilst children are allowed in the owner/occupier and touring areas it is relatively quiet and peaceful. |I stayed in a ‘Pheasant’/Platinum 2 bedroom caravan booked through Hoseasons. The caravan is a real home from home with fully equipped and fitted kitchen with full gas stove and oven, microwave and full-sized fridge/freezer. Washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels and cleaning spray are provided. There are no other provisions apart from salt and pepper and some welcome tea bags, coffee sachets and small milk pods. The living area has a sofa, 4-seat dining table, internet TV and Bluetooth speaker. The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed, dressing area and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. Clean, fluffy towels are provided. Hand soap and 2 toilet rolls are provided in this bathroom. There is no shower gel or shampoo, so bring your own. The second bedroom has 2 small single beds and there is another bathroom with walk in shower also equipped with hand soap and toilet rolls.|The caravan also has 2 outdoor wooden decked areas, 1 parking space, vacuum cleaner. The caravan is fully central heated from a gas boiler in the hallway that also provides instant hot water. |Note that no outdoor furniture is provided on the decking area, this seems like an omission. I wish I had known this as I would have brought some folding chairs with me. |The 12 holiday rental caravans are arranged in two rows along a short cul-de-sac. The caravans on the right as you look down the road get more sun in the afternoon and evening, I think these are caravans 1-6.

Lovely caravan site with lovely walks and beautiful scenery. 2 fishing lakes. Stayed in bronze caravan and it had everything we needed. No furniture for outside area but brought our folding table and chairs which were perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Terrible! AVOID!!! Booked & paid for the Hideaway retreat accommodation here for Easter weekend.Then they emailed us just 2 days before to cancel our stay & gave no reason. We called & were put on hold for 15 minutes whilst someone who could barely speak English would not give a reason & was vague about when we would we receive our refund. To say we were fuming is an understatement. It is marketed as a luxury pod, but on closer inspection of the limited photos available, it’s very clearly a caravan! It looks like we dodged an overpriced bullet! Would never book through Hoseasons again, absolutely awful!!!

Blissful,tranquil,peaceful,immaculate highly specced caravan .thoroughly enjoyed it .ideally situated to visit many charming yorkshire towns & villages .the whole site was spotless & well kept .superb value for money & would highly reccomend ❤️

Peaceful, great place to chill, good walks for dog, water is from a borehole so would reccomend bottled water for hot drinks, lots to like

Wow, where do I start.||The location is perfect for someone is wanting quiet and loves been in the middle of nowhere but close enough to drive 10/15 minutes down the road to Catterick. ||We arrived later than expected where the office was closed and due to booking through hoseasons we did not receive any information on how to get into the park or to the caravan. However outside reception there is a board with a list of numbers where we found Liams number ( Manager of the park) and he was nothing but polite and happy to help us where he provided us with the information for us to get to our caravan. He then went above and beyond by checking in on us to ensure that we was happy and manage to get into the caravan.||Liam is an asset to the park and I can honestly say this is one of the best parks we have stayed at where the Manager has done anything they can to ensure we are happy and have everything we need to enjoy our stay.||The caravans are new and very modern and is the best caravan we stayed in.||We also wanted to extend the stay and Liam was more than happy to accommodate this and organised it without ease and was very efficient to provide us with fresh towels for our extension of the stay.||We checked out last Friday and decided to come back today as we was so happy with everything and how the caravan was, it is honestly like a home away from home.||Thank you to Liam for all your help.
