We enjoyed this Inn so much. Bed and pillows were so comfy. Bathroom was all new and big. Bar was fun with locals and we see a cricket game going on. Food was amazing. Garden was so pretty and the Village was so cute. Perfect for my English countryside visit. In tje morning the farmer had his cows out in tje grass area across from the Inn. There was a church and graveyard to explore which i love. Wish we had more time.

Visited, twice, over a weekend for drinks with friends from the Yorkshire Driving Club. We were outside to be with our horses, but the pub is set in a lovverly well kept village. Set on the edge of the village green, with cricket pitch. Also went for a meal on a Friday evening and was very full with diners enjoying the full and varied menu. I enjoyed my moules & frites

Just been in this afternoon for a bite of Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and provided excellent hospitality.

We ordered 2 Top side of Beef Sunday lunches. Food came quickly. Portion size was good, you won’t go hungry. The beef was excellent, cooked well and full of flavour.

It came with a side of veg, and cauliflower cheese. What came was enough to feed 2-3 people.

Overall an excellent experience, and a credit to the village.

A wonderful old pub with very modern rooms. Breakfast was great , view from windows superb. Breakfast exceptional. People in the bar very friendly and helpful. This is an area of England that I don't know well but will explore further when time allows. Only 50 miles from the Northern end of the Lake District

Just come back from 2 night stay at the Buck Inn and I have to say that we were so so thrilled with this place.||We were made to feel very welcome! The service from Vicki and the other staff was brilliant! The rooms are fantastic, room 6 was excellent. The mattresses are the most comfy mattresses that I have ever slept on! Great power shower!! Lovely choices for breakfast and cooked to perfection! We had dinner on the first night which was excellent; the pizzas are delicious!||Ample parking, 20 minute taxi to Ripon for the races, cricket ground. Absolutely brilliant and we look forward to returning!

This was our second two night stopover in 6 weeks. Our favourite watering hole in our favourite part of the country. The Buck Inn offers fantastic choice of quality food, extremely comfortable beds, perfect shower, great views from bedroom window. Very friendly staff and customers. What’s not to like! Will definitely be back again.

Four of us visited last Sunday evening. We all enjoyed the excellent food at a reasonable price. The landlady and locals were friendly and welcoming, just how a village pub should be 😊

Lovely friendly pub B&B that also serves delicious evening meals. Light bright clean room & a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious & there was plenty of choice. Perfect for a break in this lovely area.
