We had a wonderful first family holiday with our new baby. Liz and Gez welcomed us so warmly with tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake. The room was beautiful with a lovely view. The bed was extremely comfortable and we all slept so well. The shower was also great. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and freshly cooked. We had a really relaxing afternoon in the hot tub in the courtyard as well. Liz and Gez recommended a fantastic day out in the dales and we enjoyed visiting the Wensleydale creamery and Aysgarth Falls. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Liz and Gez are truly wonderful hosts. Myself, my partner and our 2 sons went and walked the Coast to Coast after just 9 weeks before loosing our 10 year old son to Cancer. Liz and Gez followed our journey and reached out to us offering us a room , breakfast and use of their hot tub which may I add when your walking the Coast to Coast was amazing. How wonderful and generous it was of them to do such a thing. Especially during these times. The room was beautiful. Hot chocolate for the boys and the bathroom may I add was amazing!!! The location was fantastic and Liz sent us to the best Italian we have ever been to. They created a very special memory for us during such difficult times in our lives. I will never forget the kindness of Liz and Gez and would highly recommend that if you are visiting Richmond ( which may I add) is a beautiful place to visit. lots to do and see. You must go stay at Cordilleras House. Perfect for a couple looking for a little tranquillity.||We for sure rate these guys 5/5 !!!

Cordilleras House is the perfect place to stay in Richmond. We spent one night there as part of our Coast to Coast walk but wished we could have stopped for longer. The owners, Liz and Jez, provided a warm and friendly welcome, as well as a delicious slice of cake. Our room was large and comfortable and a hearty breakfast set us up for another long day of walking. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended. Lovely room, spotlessly clean and perfectly quiet. Very pleased to have not just an en-suite shower but also a bath -a welcome soak after a day out in the country! Liz was an excellent hostess and made us extremely welcome.

This is an extremely comfortable and welcoming place to stay. It is a few minutes walk from the main square and is ideally situated for exploring the town and this part of Yorkshire. The room was extremely spacious and clean and the owners where very keen to see that the Covid safety precautions were observed. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very adequate. This property is ideal for those seeking comfort and good service in an intimate and welcoming setting. It is to be recommended.

Lovely stay, very comfortable and clean, especially with the pandemic. Owners very welcoming and just the right interaction with guests, not overly intrusive. The breakfast was excellent, piping hot when served and of good quality. Right in the centre of Richmond, so very handy for all it has to offer.

We stayed here as part of our coast to coast walk with Packhorse picking our accommodations. We also had a rest day here as well. The hosts are so wonderful and made us feel so welcomed. The food at breakfast could not of been better. Both husband and wife are an amazing team with laser focus of making you feel comfortable. Our room was large and the bathroom was perfect for us after long day of walking. Thank you for taking such good care of us- Loyce and Diana

A lovely quaint B and B that fulfilled all our needs. The hosts are friendly and willing to help out any way they can. The hot tub was readily available and of a good quality. Social distancing was sensibly done and didn't detract from the visit. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good option ordering system. The only thing that detracted from the visit was that they had a cat, meaning my journey was filled with runny noses, sneezing and itchy eyes. If you aren't allergic to cats, then this is a perfect getaway for you.
