A really lovely touring park with good, clean, well maintained facilities. Everyone was cheerful, friendly, polite & welcoming above-&-beyond 'Customer Service' training.
Each pitch has its own piped water supply & a generous amount of hard standing. There was no litter anywhere.
( No evident recycling facilities )

Liked: Great layout for Motorhome, level pitches circled around the sanitary block, liked the shower - toilet - washbasin combination very effective and separate for male and females. Very clean and friendly service. Taxi service into York pick up at gate or even pitch if you give the gate code at time of booking.
Excellent service.

Disliked: no grumbles at all, address was a little much for the GPS to comprehend, had to look at google maps to find the campground.

Liked: All pitches had electric and fresh water. Washroom facilities were clean. Site quiet and well situated on the outskirts of York with fenced off area to exercise dogs off lead on site. Great communication before arrival giving information about site and local area even before we had arrived. Walked to closest park and ride but was about 2 miles away along a busy road with just a grass verge and mostly no pavement. Drove to another park and ride (as recommended by hosts due to height restrictions at closest one) the next day for a visit into city centre.

Excellent site close to the city centre and local shopping centres.|The facilities were well maintained and kept very clean.|Helpful and friendly staff. The barrier code, pitch no. and map were sent prior to the visit, making it an easy process.|Good, self contained dog exercise area.|Toby Carvery within easy walking distance.

Liked: What was there not to like, beautiful, so peaceful we could hear the sheep in the fields next to us, staff member who greeted us was so friendly and happy, Kate the owner is exceptional so supportive and helpful. Efficient in advising and replying to calls or emails. Site very clean, gorgeous site, nice play park for little ones and a lovely safe and clean dog park to allow our furry friends freedom to play, overall amazing, already reserved to book next year.

Disliked: Leaving, literally have holiday blues

Liked: Fantastic host, I turned up with my family having just broken my foot that day and she provided me with a wheelchair and a zimmer frame to enable me to enjoy my holiday as best as I could. She checked on me when my family went out for the day and I was unable to join them. She cleaned the facilities regularly to a great standard. Will be visiting again

Liked: Pitch no and barrier access code were messaged before we arrived. Also map of the site. So we new where we were going before we arrived.
Clean toilets showers and washing-up area.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good entry and exit times so we did not feel rushed to leave on the morning of our departure.
