What a lovely stay! We were at a family party and couldn’t have had a warmer reception on Saturday on arrival by the manager, she was lovely with my nephews and the lady who cooked was really lovely too.
On the Sunday Michelle went above and beyond for my nephew who loves weetabix, there wasn’t any available but she found some for him! Nothing was too much for her and made it all the more special. Michelle is an absolute credit and we will return. Perfect location clean and tidy..

Only one thing that was needed was a fan in the room as it was a particularly warm weekend but that is one of them things!!

Stayed with my partner overnight here. Reasonable rates for the area with your breakfast included. Rooms are spacious with large shower and provided with coffee tea milk and soaps. Check in was prompt and no issues. There are probably larger rooms with bigger beds I’d definitely recommend changing to this if it’s an option. Bar area quiet and reasonably priced and well stocked. Breakfast was nice good service and wide choice to choose from. Don’t be afraid to ask to change up the menu u if it’s available I’m sure they’ll cater for it.

If you wouldn't consider the Yorkway Motel because your experience of motels has been gained from watching American TV and films, and you think they are shabby places where awful things happen - you need to think again. ||There are four main reasons why this establishment deserves your attention. ||First, without a doubt, our room (Room 2) had by far the best shower of any hotel we had ever stayed in. It was large, tall, powerful, and hot, and more than met the needs of a 6'6" "well-proportioned" guy. ||Second, the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. You often get something approaching that in other places, but this seemed genuine and more than a cliché. You know the place is good if they ask you if you would prefer to have your salad without dressing. A rare question. ||Third, there is plenty of free parking. You can even park outside your front door if you want to. In our book many hotels fail miserably here. Even if they offer parking it is often limited, expensive, and some distance away. ||Four, ok the room was a reasonable size and well equipped, and the breakfasts were cooked to order and hot, and in the evening the haddock was fresh, and the beef pie had good quality beef and real pastry, but it was the shower. It was amazing. Ok, there were a few minor niggles, but too few and minor to get excited about. And we're coming back just for the shower (ok and the staff and the room and the parking and the location etc). But the shower was really good! Did I mention the shower?

Three of us stayed here on Monday 30th June after playing one of the local golf courses. What a great place this is, the rooms were spotless, lovely big bathroom comfortable bed a home from home.Food in the restaurant was very good, staff very welcoming nothing too much trouble a proper Yorkshire welcome.

Really nice setting for a meal. Good value menu and the foot was excellent quality. The lady that served us was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was well decorated and comfortable. We would certainly return without hesitation.

We were visiting friends in Pocklington for a special birthday party and chose to stay at the Yorkway Motel for 2 nights because it was only a short drive from their home.|We were a little anxious, despite the good reviews on line, as we had not stayed in a motel in decades and were not sure what to expect.|We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The reception, bar and dining area are located within the old original farmhouse and are bright, modern and very tastefully decorated. We received a very warm welcome from the gentleman on reception, who told us not to hesitate if there was anything we needed.|Our room was really very well appointed. It was spotlessly clean, again very tastefully decorated, with good quality carpets, curtains, fixtures and fittings, There were more accessible electrical sockets than we have experienced in some 5* hotels worldwide, good lighting and a powerful hairdryer. Ample hanging space and good mirrors were an added bonus. Good supply of tea, coffee, etc and efficient electric kettle.|The bathroom was very clean and light, with a wide walk-in shower, good lighting above the mirror, ample toiletries and quality towels. |The weather was very hot and humid when we stayed and we wondered whether the absence of air conditioning would be a problem. However, the management had thoughtfully provided an electric fan, which kept the room at a bearable temperature all night and we both slept very well. ||We had one of the rooms nearest to the road, but experienced no traffic noise whatsoever through either the door or the windows.||The lounge and bar area were beautifully decorated and had a nice ambience. | We called in for a quick G&T before leaving for our party and the lady who served us (one of the managers I believe) was very friendy and welcoming.||Breakfast was excellent - good choice of cereals, next to a clearly labelled and simple to use machine for coffee and tea. Jugs of milk and juice were brought to the table by our server, Lauren, who was delightful, friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts were excellent, with the best poached eggs we have ever had - always the sign of a good cook!||We cannot fault the Yorkway Motel. We would definitely choose to stay there again if we were visiting the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.||We had a lovely weekend and the Yorkway Motel was the icing on the (birthday) cake!

We stayed here for two nights when we attended a wedding at the KP Golf Club. What a fabulous find! The room (no 16) was lovely - spotlessly clean and very quiet. The bathroom was amazing - fantastic shower and lovely toiletries. Great that you can park your car right outside the door so no lugging suitcases half a mile! We had breakfast both mornings - absolutely delicious. Piping hot, fresh ingredients - and the plates were hot too which was fabulous! I had scrambled eggs the first morning and a full English the next. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
