We stayed for a hen do and the accommodation was amazing! Exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, beautiful house and Kerry was really nice and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

One bit of feedback - the blinds in the master bedroom with the en-suite only go half way up the windows. Could do with some black out blinds.

We had a great weekend away, staying in the old coach house. Facilities were great, everything you could need was there. We paid extra for the decoration and late checkout which was definitely worth it!

Host went out of her way to return a jacket I had left there by mistake, return to me without any trouble at all! Great experience

Only constructive thing I could think was maybe need more full length mirrors in/around bedrooms to be able to get ready in. Upstairs shower head was leaking slightly, so the pressure not amazing for that one, shower drain was slightly blocked so filled the bath while showering, not a big deal tho still useable, but the downstairs shower was fantastic!

We did a “pizza night” on the first night for 16, we struggled slightly cooking enough for all at the same time, would consider to maybe bring and air fryer or mini over if doing something similar.

Overall a great experience and we would book/visit again.

We booked the Horseshoe Cottage for a hen weekend in March. The house is really well equipped for so many people and we all had plenty of space and comfort. We booked a hot tub which was lovely and tucked away round the back. Location was ideal for our evening out in York although we could happily have stayed in all weekend.

We had a baby shower at The West Wing for 35 guests and the venue was perfect. Lots of space for everyone and all the facilities you need with lots of parking.

We had a brilliant weekend at one of their houses for a hen do!
The house was perfect for the occasion. They also did a great deal for us which included drinks and grazing board on arrival and beautiful decorations for an extra very reasonable cost! It was absolutely worth it! I would definitely recommend staying here! Particularly if you are hosting something that requires large groups of people or a celebration!
I also left something behind by accident and Kerry went above and beyond in getting it back to me! Excellent service! Thank you!

Great location for our stay.
We came to visit family and it was a perfect home from home.
Easy transport links into York itself, where there are lots of restaurants and tourist attractions to explore.
We found the kitchen to be really well equipped with everything we needed and the property itself spotlessly clean.
The communication we received from Kerry the owner was personal and made us feel really welcome.

Stayed at West Wing and it is a nice, spacious property indoors. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of seating. Fridges and freezer took quite a while to get to a good cold though. The lounge has plenty of seating which is comfortable, the TV isn't a smart TV so don't take equipment to plug into it, we couldn't use our karaoke machine unfortunately. Bedrooms are good sizes, single beds aren't full size though and the sofabed is like sleeping on a plank of wood. Nice clean bedding. TAKE YOUR OWN TOWELS! We got caught out with this but they did kindly lend some of us some. Upstairs shower over bath was ridiculously slow and had drainage problems that we asked to be looked at (wasn't while we were there). You have to put the boiler on for hot water. Might be an idea to take some toilet roll, there wasn't enough for our party. The outdoor space was tidy, just grassed and paved areas, the 'outdoor furniture' was round pub like benches No noise after 10pm but it wasn't comfortable enough to sit outside for long periods anyway. There is nothing nearby but a Thai restaurant but there is a regular bus service to nearby towns.
For the money paid we didn't think it was value for money, we have stayed in better and cheaper properties.
The safety issue we encountered wasn't dealt with in a satisfactory way in our opinion and there was no apology, just blaming other people and the heat for the damaged flooring.

I regularly visit Coach House Cottages to host hen party activities. The cottages are so well presented and clean. Great space for activities and socialising. Communication with Kerry who runs and owns the cottages is so easy. Such a great venue if you are wanting to book a special event with family or friends.
