As a special gift from my wonderful wife, Ash came to our house to cook for us. Ash came in prepared and got straight to work to create what can only be described as a masterpiece! We left him to it whilst he prepared the meal and the table and when we sat down we were greeted with divine smells and the most beautiful prawn and crayfish cocktail. It looked amazing and tasted even better. The next course was beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection. The meat was huge and an amazing cut. It melted in my mouth and the dauphinois potatoes were the perfect company alongside delicious carrots and green beans topped with a mouth watering sauce. To finish off we had a raspberry pavlova which was all the right levels of chewy, sweet and fruity. Ash was an amazing host and cleaned up as he went meaning once he had left we only had to sit back and let the food digest with a huge smile on mine and my families faces. I cannot recommend Ash enough, he was on time, professional, friendly and his skills were superb. I’m sure Ash could cater for any occasion and have amazing results. I’m not usually one to take time to do reviews but this was one review I wanted to write. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful night, after a year of teaching this was the perfect close.

First time I have ever hosted such a large event in my home and wow, Ash and his team were absolutely amazing, putting my nerves at ease and taking care of every last detail with so much thought and care. We had a buffet-style offering and everything tasted fantastic. The food and service delivered was to the highest standard and because the event was a surprise birthday party for my Mum's 60th, their attention to all of those small details really did help make the day so extra special for us. Ash also made the best cherry bakewell I have ever tasted! Thank you so much again for such a wonderful afternoon!

Where to begin with Hibberd's? Ash & Alisma stepped in to cater for our wedding at Priory Hall in Hadleigh with less than 6 months notice, after things didn't work out with our former caterer. They impressed us immediately with their professional, kind attitude; an impeccable, creative menu; and their accessibility and attentiveness. Ash was always quick to answer our queries and to reassure us. Upon initial inquiry, they came to our home to cook a tasting dinner for us and our witnesses, who have very refined and experienced palates and yet could not find fault with anything. At the end of the meal, it was like a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders: it was all sensational, a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. (We loved the at-home dining experience so much that we even booked Ash to cook dinner for my husband's 40th birthday a couple of months later!).

When the wedding day came around, Ash & Alisma had navigated several curveballs we threw at them gracefully, always prioritizing our sanity in the busy time that is wedding-planning. The food they served at our wedding was probably what we heard about most subsequent to the event: one guest told us that this was the first time they had been to a wedding where looking around the table, they wanted to eat every different meal option that was being served. It was important to us that a vegan option be served, and the vegans at our wedding said it was the best wedding meal they had ever had, bar none - it didn't feel like a second-class meal, but a delicious option in its own right. Each plate looked like fine-dining out of a Michelin-starred kitchen and tasted to those heights, too. With Alisma front of house, the service was impeccable: one guest was especially impressed with how forward-thinking the servers were about the kids' food, and keeping it warm if the kids were distracted or didn't want to eat just then. Alisma always has a kind word and a reassuring hand on things, and is such a warm and open presence that you can't help but feel like you can hand everything over safely to her.

Hibberd's were so crucial to making our wedding day the magical event that it was, they invested so much in every detail, whether it was small or big, and we feel so lucky to have found them and know they will be the de facto friends we turn to for any catering event. Their enjoyment for food that is sourced locally, lovingly prepared and freshly acquired shows in the quality of their craft. We wanted our wedding to be a love-letter to the area we live in, and beyond Hibberd's being local to us, we love that the food reflected this in the Lindsey honey, the Suffolk berries, the Bury bread, and all the other locally sourced produce that were part of the meal. Ash & Alisma are the loveliest team and working with them was such a joy.

Hibberd’s Limited were chosen to provide a meal for the landmark birthday celebration of our 70th birthdays. There were 10 family members in my daughter’s home, and the quality and manner in which the food was presented was dining at its finest ! The event was a total surprise to us and the seamless way in which the delicious food was served ensured we had the best evening imaginable. The service was very professional throughout and we have no hesitation in recommending Ash And Alisha having provided us with a special ‘home dining’s ’ occasion !
