Called here Sunday afternoon. Initially we were going to sit outside in the alleyway with our dog, but they kindly led us to a great enclosed and covered outdoor space at the rear.
Their fantastic own craft ale & lager deserves a special mention here also.
The burger was up there with the best. The ribeye steak was full of flavour, quite delicious & perfectly cooked. The sides of chunky chips, green beans with smoked bacon & mashed potato were excellent.
All the people running this establishment that we encountered were wonderful, as were the clientele.
Highly recommended.

I’ve come here for breakfast several times now, and every meal has been delicious! The presentation is always spectacular, but it’s the fusion of flavors that set the Griddle Bar separate from normal breakfast places. I’ve had the Eggs Royale (I swapped bacon in lieu of salmon), the French Toast, the Hash Browns, Poached Eggs & Avocado, and (currently my favorite) the Shakshuka Baked Eggs! The “bottomless breakfast” deal makes it an easy choice for trying everything at least once. 🙂

Good burgers, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The play on the japanese unagi was the best of all, the eel of Ely is a great way to highlight a local speciality in a great dish. Really well put together dish, elegant and delicious, an interesting contrast to the burgers. The burgers themselves were good, it wasn't a special burger but it was a good one. The one oddity of the restaurant is the eclectic music, not sure what to make of it, but not something I'd generally listen to over dinner.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, I don't think there is a wrong choice from the menu! We had the breakfast offer so it was exceptional value, would still be a great breakfast at full price.

We went to the Griddle Bar for the bottomless breakfast. Sat in the garden area which has recently opened. We had a great experience.

Great food! Great service!
Had breakfast here, lovely little location to watch the world pass by.
Very fresh food, both had large breakfast, eggs were poached to perfection. Drinks were great and price was good for quality too.

Among the best places to eat in the region! The eel was amazing and our ribeye was perfectly cooked. They have beers made specially for them and those are killer too. Perfect friendly service caps it off, and they've even got good music playing! (Iggy, the Clash, lots of 90s rock, and the Beatles-- can't beat it!)

The BEST STEAK EVER!! literally the meal from start to finish was delicious 😋 the service was brilliant and worth every penny.
Plenty of Delicious cocktails options to choose from.
We had the chicken liver pate starter, the 10oz ribeye steak.
Cannot recommend enough!
