Lovely cottage, with absolutely everything one needs contained within it. Host went above and beyond by providing everything we needed and more. The small touches such as baby monitor, the lovely Christmas decorations and choccies were the things that put a smile on my face.
There were 2 downsides - lack of main lights in the bedrooms so quite dark in the evenings and room temperature don't go as high as we'd like so had to huddle in front of fire for most of the day to get warm. I'd prefer to knock off only half a point rather than full but this doesn't allow me.
By the way the pics online don't do it justice, we will definitely be back for the summer to also make full use of the scenic outdoors 🙂

Oak Cottage suited my parents and I plus our two dogs perfectly; Davina was incredibly helpful both prior to and during our stay. The location provided us with good access to Cambridge without being in the hum-drum of a city. The cottage was peaceful, bright, spacious and well equipped with all that we needed; it is always helpful to have a washing machine and dishwasher. The fact we could walk the dogs on-site was fantastic and a loop around the reservoir was great. Shower was great! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a pleasant stay with good access to Cambridge and Ely.

The perfect space for our long weekend away. The interior of the cottage is beautifully designed and furnished and all rooms are good sizes. The open plan living room and kitchen offered the perfect entertaining space for our group to gather.
The garden, snug/tv room, hot tub, games room & foot golf were all a hit with the kids. We also loved being able to walk straight from the cottage along the river.
Both cottages were both very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lastly, Davina was so helpful on the run up to our weekend away and really made the trip special - thanks again, we hope to be back!

We rented all four properties for an extended family get together. The cottages were perfect for our needs and the quality of the interiors, lovely outdoor spaces, quality games room and well equipped kitchens meant that everyone from age 10 to 80 in our group thought that Gravel Farm was the perfect location for our celebration weekend.

Accessibility was excellent for the older generation, the youngsters loved the play opportunities inside and out and Daisy the dog loved it too!
The whole place was spotless and I have never come across such a well equipped holiday rental.

Willow cottage was the perfect party location but the clever design meant that those who were sleeping there could still get peace and quiet if they needed it. It was so well equipped and we found enough glasses/ plates etc for the whole extended group were already in Willow cottage which was so convenient.

The service from Davina, James and their team was excellent throughout the booking process and all weekend. We couldn’t fault anything at all… they really had thought of everything!

Thoroughly recommend these cottages! Thank you so much- we are so glad we chose this place to celebrate our dad’s big birthday!

We took all 4 cottages for a big family Christmas and they couldn't have worked any better! Each property is amazing and it was great that people had their own space, if needed. We also brought a few dogs and it was great that they were able to stay out of the main house.
We have stayed in a lot of large holiday properties and these cottages are by far the best we've ever used. They are so well equipped and everything is of an amazing standard, from the bedding and towels to everything in the kitchen. Having access to multiple ovens made Christmas dinner for 18 a breeze! The team were great in the run up to the booking, patiently answering a lot of questions! We'll definitely be back.

Amazing stay in Oak Cottage. Immaculately clean and so comfortable with everything we could have wished for. The walk from the farm around the beautiful reservoir was fantastic, enjoying the varied wildlife - roe deer, hares, rabbits, herons and a multitude of birds. The chocolate brownies were just the best too, thank you. Also the thoughtful gifts for our dog, Storm. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Ten out of ten! We stayed at Willow Cottage for six weeks and found it to be our oasis in the countryside. The cottages are all brand new, bright with great views and incredibly well equipped. The beds are outstandingly comfortable and real care has been placed into furnishing which is to a very high standard. The owners and property manager were fantastic and went out of their way to facilitate our every need. They even provided cot-bed, toys and books for our two-year old! The area has some very nice walks and good access to nearby towns.

An amazing place. This rental is in an ideal location just 20odd minutes to Cambridge center.
More than spacious bedrooms with some onsuites. Towels and bed lining supplied. The living/ kitchen room is really spacious and well planned out with vibrant colours and funky furniture from the likes of John lewis.
The kitchen itself has all the mod cons and plenty of fridges/ freezer space. It also houses washing machine and tumble dryer.
The garden is really big and a lovely size patio with garden furniture.
