We stayed in the hotel for a few days. Whilst there we ate in the evenings, as well as eating in the tea room. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. The rooms make a change from the normal plain boring rooms. Each room seems to be different, the food, from the breakfast, tea room and evening meals are fresh, good sized portions and on many occasions made there by the owners. This is a small, business who work hard, and make the stay enjoyable. Definitely one to return to.

Wonderful short break. We had a beautiful room with a four poster bed. We slept so well. The facilities were excellent and the food was great. A really warm and welcoming couple who run the place. The art gallery and gift shop are great and they opened up just for us. Everything was really reasonably priced in the gallery and shop. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely day at Wolds Village. They had the most gorgeous paintings in the gallery and all the gorgeous jewellery and cards etc. Stopped for coffee and lunch, was really nice, staff friendly and helpful. An all round lovely afternoon.

Dad and I visit regularly and have consistently great meals, with lovely, friendly and efficient service. Can only comment on the tea rooms as we live local and have never stayed in the hotel. The menu is extensive but there’s something for every size of appetite. From simple toasted teacakes, to amazing home cooked Yorkshire puddings and full on cream tea. Everything is freshly cooked/baked using local fair. You can tell this is a well-run business by people who care. We love looking around the art gallery and gift shop too. And while it’s a cosy, atmospheric experience inside (I love looking down the well!), in summer there isn’t a nicer courtyard around from where to enjoy lunch. I only wish you were open evenings!

We visited the cafe and shop, not the guesthouse.
The staff were lovely, very attentive and polite. The food was very tasty and decent portions. The shop was quirky.

Stopped for abit of lunched out of the blue. Didn't know it was there, so this little gem was a great find. The food was lush and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Great for a meal but only open 10am till 4pm. Service excellent and food very good. Definate stop on the way to the coast.
