The food was so delicious but a bit on the pricey side that’s why I am only giving it 3/5 for the food. But the atmosphere, sitting and the decorations all are stunningly beautiful! Everyone should give Orchard Park Cafe visit tho if you’re coming to Gillingham (Dorset).

Ok for a coffee. I hate the need to leave your table to place an order. Having to queue each time you want something is poor. So we tend not to eat there any more. It used to be table service and was much better.

Worst breakfast I have ever had.. under cooked even the toast was warm bread.. will never go there for food again.

Wholly disappointed. Give it a miss and go to the wonderful staff at Waitrose café.
Booked a table 2 weeks ago for 8 people, well in advance, for cream teas in the afternoon celebrating the 80th birthday of my grandmother.

Nothing left back for this booking and when we confronted the manager about this, they argued there was a table booked the day before for 8 people that didn't show up. Absolute lie as this was doubly and triple checked with someone over the phone.

Awful went for Sunday lunch with 3 other people 2 beef roast lunches came , then 20 minutes later no sign of our 2 chicken roast lunches, wife went up to counter and asked about ours they said on way . Turned up luke warm so wife asked if could be replaced came back 5 mins later, and he said they reheated them , yet again luke warm ,asked for refund then left will not go back again !!!

Booked a table 2 weeks ago for afternoon tea for my mums birthday, we were all very disappointed with the service, they had nothing left for us, we only wanted cream teas there were no scones left and no cheese scones. We asked to speak to the manager she told us a table had been booked for 8 people on the Friday 3rd May but apparently no one turned up! That's because they had got the wrong date and tried to make it look like it was our fault. When the table was booked it was made sure that they had got the right booking for the right day.
Will never be returning to this place, it upset my mum, luckily waitrose café came up trumps, we shall be using them in future.

OK, but slightly pricey on the plant front. The garden center elements are quite expensive and you can get most things there. However avoid the cafe for anything more than tea/coffee and perhaps a slice of cake. Most hot foods will eventually be served cold after you've had a long wait. The overall experience isn't a good one. Top tip, for food try The Filling Station on Station Rd. For a good range of plants try Plant World just north of Gillingham... great prices too.
