Visited Jaggers in Rochester and had a brilliant experience! We went for the all-day breakfast, which was really tasty – everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We also tried the Rochester Special crepe, which was absolutely lovely – a great balance of sweet and indulgent.

The venue itself is charming, with nice views that make it a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy your meal. What stood out most was the exceptional service – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

If you're in Rochester, Jaggers is a must-try – whether you're after crepes, waffles, or a proper breakfast, this place delivers on all fronts.

A lovely experience!!

We were asked if we would like to be seated in the garden round the back to be in a sunnier spot. The staff were so friendly and helpful! My two daughters had the waffles and they were huge and looked amazing. Genuinely the best we’ve tried as we couldn’t help but finish them.
We would love to go back. Any time we treat the girls to waffles, this will be our to go place 🩷

Nice little snack bar. There's only a couple of vegan options so not much to choose from but loved the vegan pancakes. Staff were very friendly and nice to sit outside on a nice day.

Absolutely lovely afternoon here. We had two bespoke cocktails and some wonderful lemon cake. One of the cocktails blew over in the wind, broken glass and espresso martini everywhere!!
The waitress brought another one at no extra charge. Lovely friendly, attentive staff ,where nothing is too much trouble.
Definitely give this place a visit if you’re in Rochester. You won’t be disappointed.

Heartbroken and furious after the humiliating experience we had outside this restaurant on Easter afternoon. I was with my entire family—including my 72-year-old mother and my 2-month-old infant—and we were simply standing outside for a moment, using one of the chairs placed outside the restaurant so my elderly mother could sit. It was cold, and we were trying to keep the baby warm and my mother comfortable.
Suddenly, a Punjabi woman, apparently a staff member, came out and rudely snapped at us, demanding we move immediately in the most disrespectful, heartless, and aggressive tone. She showed zero empathy, no basic decency, and acted as though we were intruding simply for existing near their restaurant.
We were in our traditional Indian clothes after visiting the cathedral, and it honestly felt like we were being judged or targeted for how we looked. I've never played the race card lightly, but this came across as nothing short of racist behavior. In my five years of living in Kent ME4, I have never encountered something so degrading. This town has always embraced my family and me—until today.
The owner of this establishment seriously needs to train their staff in basic human decency. You don’t speak to anyone like that—especially not to a family with a tiny baby and a senior citizen out in the cold.
I used to love their waffles, but honestly, no food is worth putting up with such vile treatment. This restaurant has lost my respect, my business, and the business of anyone I know who cares about dignity and compassion. Never going back.
