My first visit to this amazing cafe the service by the waitress called melisa was above and beyond excellent would highly recommend this place.

We wanted to go to the locksbottom walnuts but there was a Que outside so we headed for petts wood instead going out of our way. We got a table straight away , but I wish we hadn’t bothered. We waited well over 20 minutes before anyone asked us any order and I had to ask the manager if we could place an order , she said she would send someone over , another 15 minutes went by and I had to get someone else’s attention. One of the girls took the order . When our drinks were eventually brought over , one was a glass of tap water , it was half filled and warm. I got up and went to the till and asked the girl (blonde stroppy waitress) for some ice, she grabbed the glass out my hand and threw a piece of ice in with her fingers. No smile, no words just plain rude.
Our food order came about 20 minutes later, and it was wrong . I asked for no bacon in my wrap and it had bacon, my son asked for no salad and he got salad .
Not a massive problem but when you’ve waited all that time you expect them to get the order correct . The atmosphere isn’t great and all the staff are very unfriendly. We will not be returning to this over priced cafe .

I’m always out and about! Up and down the country … eating in different places! this place just doesn’t ever disappoint! It’s the best Cafe in England! that’s right …. ENGLAND! … Go on! Been many times, love the decor. Food is usually great, last time I was had pancakes for breakfast and my friend had egg benedict. Pankaces were lovely, a bit on a pricey side.
I like their coffee and service, but I think they get a bit overwhelmed when full. Will definitely be back, one of the best café's in the area.

Have been back a couple of more times for their French toast. Omg is legendary 🙌 . Look at my photos, super yummy. Customer service is also very good.
Will be back for some more for sure

I went here yesterday for breakfast as my usual place was closed for a few days and this was recommended to me. The place was larger than I had expected you can sit outside as well as in and they also have a back area, which all looked very clean.
The waitress were very intentive and all well presented and welcomed you with a smile.
I orederd the Alternative breakfast minus the mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. I had two chicken sausages, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs and beans with a Earl Grey Tea. All was satisfactory. Prices was reasonable. I would come here again.

The food is absolutely amazing, the workers are extremely kind and as busy as it may get, the service is still great and the wait time for food is extremely low, as soon as we walked in we were given menu's and a place to sit. Portions are quite big for their price.
