Really enjoyable brunch with friends, we reserved an outside table in advance with the weather being amazing. We all had similar food, fizzy drinks and coffee. Eggs and avocado were delicious and catering for one gluten free was perfect. The atmosphere was really pleasant and the pricing was good. I will definitely be back soon, I have promised my daughter brunch when she’s back home!!

Cafe nucleus is such a nice location! It feels very decadent inside and you get linen napkins and high quality serve wear. We had to wait quite a while for our table to be ready but they have a gallery for you to wait in.
The building is so interesting and has lots of art/ intricate decor and the food is good. We went for brunch and there are all the usual options and they are done well. The drinks menu is also extensive.
I would say the environment is the main thing I enjoyed about cafe nucleus! Such a beautiful building, the food didn’t blow me away but was just as good as anywhere else, so I would still choose to go here. While we were there we saw lots of Sunday roasts going by, which looked fantastic, so will definitely return to try one of those! 😋

We stopped at Cafe Nucleus in Rochester for a quick lunch and drink. They seated us straight away which was great considering we could see how busy they were. The service was amazing as was the food. Not overpriced for what it was. We left very satisfied.

Popped in for a coffee and some breakfast/brunch and got seated upstairs. There was a bit of a wait for our order to be taken and then another relatively long wait for our coffees. (A couple who arrived after us had their order taken before us and received both their cooked breakfasts before our coffees even came out!). We both went for the Canadian breakfast which was OK (bacon needed doing a bit more). However, the hash browns were great. Wouldn’t be in a huge rush to return as the atmosphere felt a bit off.

Very lovely atmosphere for dining out! Excellent service and food was just magnificent. The menu is very versatile and has many options, lots of drinks to choose from too which was great. We didn't have to wait long and the staff made sure we have everything we need. One of the best places to go to if you want a cosy yet exquisite evening. The location is close to Rochester castle so if you want you can have a nice walk after dinner. Me and my partner enjoyed every second. Definitely coming back again for brunch next time!

I have now eaten here for both lunch and dinner and it was great both times. Fantastic food and excellent service. If you’re looking for somewhere a bit special in Rochester then definitely give Café Nucleus a try.

This restaurant is STUNNING. My favourite place I’ve been to so far in Rochester. The only downside (for me) was the lack of main meal options. I’m not a fan of meat, and they only had meat options. The chef did end up making me a vegetarian option which was a cauliflower steak with roasted veg, which was really lovely of him. But I would love for a chicken option. The bruschetta was the best thing I’ve ever flipping tasted like OH MY. And the staff are WONDERFUL.

What a lovely place for Saturday brunch in Rochester. Very good menu options, including vegan and gluten-free. I enjoyed my pea and mint soup, and the staff was very attentive to my food intolerance. My friend enjoyed vegetarian truffle pastry with veg and mashed potatoes.
Very nice and clean restaurant, lovely ambient and staff.
