I can’t recommend Chanctonbury Leisure Centre in Storrington highly enough! The team are incredibly friendly and make going to the gym an enjoyable experience every time.

The facilities have recently been upgraded, and they are absolutely top-notch—everything feels modern and well-maintained. Beyond fitness, the centre truly feels like the heart of the community, hosting a variety of events, including contributions from the local library and community wardens.

The classes are excellent, catering to a range of fitness levels, and the whole centre is clean and welcoming. And let’s not forget—they even serve great coffee and cake, which is always a bonus!

I got injured playing football Tuesday evening 13th may 2025. It was a freak injury where I ruptured my achilles tendon. The support and care I got from staff in particular andy I will always be eternal grateful for. Despite the pain, I had a brilliant experience in having so much compassion and empathy come my way. I was genuinely taken aback and now look back fondly at my time there as opposed to the traumatic nightmare it could have so easily been. Thank you again Andy, words alone are not enough to express my thanks. You really are a top man.

I just want to say I could not rate this gym highly enough - the price is excellent, staff are lovely and so helpful & the equipment on the gym floor is second to none!

I have dealt quite a bit with Alan & Gordon - as there was a mix up with freezing my membership and for how long ( my mum was in hospital nearly 5 months then moved to a care home ) I think the mix up was on my side & I was quite a difficult customer as I had a lot on my mind.

However the kindness, empathy, compassion, friendliness & professionalism Alan in particular and Gordon dealt with me with was first class - thank you to both of you

I will shout about the service I received to anyone interested 🙂

Love this gym and the staff... especially grategul to Lyn for her ladies that weight train classes and the Tuesday evening sessions are an absolutely must class for me, mixing stamina, weights and cardio. Thanks for making me stronger!

We came here while on holiday as they had pickleball. We asked prior to booking whether we had to be members to book and they promptly came back saying we didn’t have to. Booking online was super easy. The front of house staff were friendly and engaging. They even gave us some tips on places to explore.

All staff at the leisure centre are helpful and friendly. The tutors are very knowledgeable and the equipment in the gym is high spec. The classes are varied and cater to all abilities.

Great gym, with great equipment
Great facilities, with a sauna and steam room with a hot shower AND a cold shower for the people that like cold therapy.
A little cafe that’s has coffee and even protein shakes, and more.
Best of all, the staff are sooo friendly, happy and helpful, especially Lisa!!

A brilliant centre. It is managed well and the Staff are so friendly. The welcome and atmosphere is great. A wonderful place to meet up with, or make new friends. There is something for everyone. Old and young, it's for the energetic and for the not so!
The equipment is great and everything is immaculate. We are very fortunate to have such a brilliant centre in Storrington.
