Very friendly staff. Took our 11 month to her first soft play experience. We think she enjoyed it, but there were some quite intense children regularly bombing into under 2's section. So has to keep a very watchful eye on the other kids as well as our own daughter so was a bit much at points, but the staff were very on it and politely informing parents that it was a strictly under 2s area and to try and please remain in the big kids area. All in all will go back again for sure but, and no judgements here, just would have liked some parents to have been adhering to the under 2s only rule

I've been a member of Rainbows for about 8 years, mainly using the swimming pool. Its a very friendly place. I have noticed recently that things never get repaired. Some of the mens lockers upstairs are broken.A few of the changing rooms in the swimming pool have broken locks. The mens toilet has had one of the cubicle closed for over two weeks, the kickboard beneath the urinals is missing exposing the wooden structure which is rotten. The floor in the mens toilets does not let water drain away so often the floor in this area is wet.Today I reported that a section of the facia is coming away.in the front.
I'm very supportive of the centre which I and my family have enjoyed, I'm getting concerned that things are not being maintained.

Absolute shambles!!!
No one even knows the managers name apparently not even she does. Grace…
No communication regarding our booking and the facilities being closed from the day before!!! Due to an apparent leak… so why weren’t we called ? We paid for parking and then upon arriving was told the manager couldn’t speak to us. We were unable to use the facilities we had booked over a month ago!!! Do not recommend 0/10!!!!!! So much for a relaxation day at the spa with attitude from all staff members. Grace eyeballed us as we were leaving and gave us a wave 👋 as we left 🤣 how professional

pool facilities are alright, nothing really wrong there. The sports hall is alright as well, although availability for certain things (i.e. badminton) isn't too good.
Gym facilities are decent, there are a plethora of cardio machines which strangely get fixed and the weightlifting section is alright. The PT'S are pretty good too.

The main problem is how poorly the centre is kept, in which there just seems to be 0 care about it for the past few months. Been visiting regularly for nearly 2 years, and at this point and it's just becoming worse by day.

- Spas have mould all over them and are just incredibly dirty. These need some proper care as it seems dangerous to even step foot inside as there's a high chance you'll be walking out with some sort of disease.
- Certain cardio machines are broken nearly all the time, in which they do get fixed occasionally at the very least.
- The scanning gates have been broken for nearly ~2 months as of writing, which is an issue of course when there are queues for people swimming, as it takes a while for a queue to dissipate. Some staff come off across as ignorant to the issues in the gym and also people scanning in (experienced this quite a few times), hence, the scanning gate should probably be fixed?
- The water fountains leak and one of them just doesn't work anymore near the cardio section.
- The machines feel rather dirty, and some of the attachable equipment (i.e. v-bars) are not in a good state.
- Certain cable machines sometimes just don't budge or the thing you need to pull out to change their elevation just entirely comes out, making it unusable.
- The changing rooms are also in a very unclean state in general.
- Very untidy across the gym, across the weightlifting section & open space on entry there are always weights lying around. Probably an issue for people using it though.
- Gets incredibly warm inside the gym, feels like AC doesn't exist inside.
- The same TV screen over one of the treadmills has been purple for well over a year at this point. Obviously no one cares about them but it's an indicator of the state of the gym.

Overall, for the purpose of swimming, this is a decent centre, as the pool is maintained rather well. The sports hall is also great for what it can allow. However, the gym is in a terrible condition and it's rather unbearable visiting it due to the mass of issues it has that don't get addressed, in which some have been a problem for a while now. If visiting for the gym aspect would 100% recommend going somewhere else than here as it doesn't seem like anything will be done about how bad it is right now.

I recently joined this gym and I am so impressed! The staff are friendly and helpful, the equipment is top-notch and always clean, and there is a great variety of classes to choose from. I especially appreciate the focus on hygiene and the spacious layout. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great workout experience!

Good facilities unfortunately the under 2 soft play has older kids in which the staff don’t seem to remove . My 13 month old daughter got hit in the head by a 7 year old running around the under 2 are with a box didn’t even say sorry.

Love the gym and all the class’s the facilities are clean and friendly staff who will help you with whatever you need. For the price you pay you can’t beat it.
