The lady on Reception was welcoming and friendly and we liked our room with a sea view (recommend booking a Premier Plus room as I believe these are the ones with a view). It was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a disaster on Friday morning and very chaotic- it wasn't even that busy but no-one came to take our order (happened to other customers too) and the woman who did after we went to the bar was grumpy and didn't apologise. My husband's order came out a long time before mine and we were pleased to leave. Breakfast on Saturday was better as for some reason there was a buffet for the hot food instead- seemed to be a lot calmer. I think they need to look at the service as it let down the hotel.

The stay was lovely, first time staying at a premier inn! Room was nice and clean and felt like I was on a proper holiday! Receptionist Kristen was so nice and lovely, she had some good recommendations for the area which came in handy! Thank you Kristen and I’ll be back soon!

Arrived Sunday lunchtime and asked to upgrade to Premier Plus. |Wow, walk in shower (perfect for partner who has mobility problems) mini fridge which had very cold still and sparking water in along with two small chocolates. Room has an iron an iron board and a hair dryer. Lots of big mirror and plenty of lighting. We had a lovely sea view, we were hot and were shown how to put system in to 19 and cold air blew. Not a big a room as standard but so much more on offer. |Thank you ladies and gent staff we saw. Amazing 5 nights our 3rd stay this year and 4th stay booked July already organised upgrade

On check in, payment hadn't been taken from work card. This was not clear on booking. Issue was resolved by manager. It should be clearer on booking that would need to pay on arrival and work card would not be charged. ||Parking - had not been informed £7 from premier in so had booked direct at £13. Reception staff was unhelpful and told em nothing to do with her. This should be clearer on booking with the option to pre reserve a spot - I needed to park there due to traveling for work and did not have the time to find one if one not available ||Room - was on far end of corridor furthest from reception. As travelling on my own I would prefer something nearer to reception. Window needed replacement as double glazing seal had gone, therefore no good view. ||Hand wash instead of shampoo in shower. ||Table for desk wasn't clean and had sticky mark on it - did not report to reception due to handling of previous issues.

as a housekeeper for premier inn i know the standards and even for a regular person this isn’t really acceptable. it’s the bare minimum. the amount of dust in the room we had was awful. top of the wardrobe, headboard, picture frames. the kettle should be wiped out and the outside of the kettle was covered in water marks which again should have been wiped clean. i opened the duvet to get inside the bed and there was a pinky red mark. that is a reject. no questions asked it should’ve been taken off and changed. bathroom was decent, just needs a bit of a remodel. the staff on reception were lovely as well as the staff in the restaurant. food was enjoyable, everything fresh.

Room quiet, bed comfortable, tgerefore a good nights sleep, good products in bathroom, all staff that we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was OK, have to admit I would have preferred self service, but that is just my preference, I understand why it's not. There is a good choice for breakfast

Premiere Inn was clean with friendly staff and good location. Brewers fayre was poor ,food was not very good ,did not offer a buffet breakfast on 2 of the 3 days we were there. Evening meal was poor no pizzas, no lasagne no bacon on the smothered chicken steak was fatty bacon on cheeseburger was a rasher of fat. On the Tuesday night we had to be there by 7 o'clock as they were shutting due to maintenance . We stay at Premiere inn's quite often and usually find them good value for money, we will not be returning here.

Spacious room with single bed to accommodate our daughter. Comfortable bed and quiet which resulted in a great nights sleep. We helped ourselves to additional tea and coffee from reception. Good variety of food at breakfast, to include cooked and continental selection. Highly recommend Premier Inn
