Thought it was really good.
They give you a code to unlock a box to get your key card. Very easy process. Room was really clean, tea and coffee, nice linen. Everything you want for a little hotel for the night.

Very basic room. No staff on the premises so it's code entry. It was zero degrees out when I stayed here and the heating did not keep up with the cold. Duvet only on the bed and no blankets. At least it was clean and well kept

This is just a perfect place to stay. Town centre, ferry, lovley sea front and a really easy self check in. What more do you need for a few days away.

1. Something is definable wrong with locks of the doors (including Main door, room door and bathroom doors). 2 Room number 33 door was locked and had to push to unlock. We tried to open it for 5 mins then had to call staff and then he guided to push the door harder to open it. 3 Room number 43 bathroom door was locked from inside and my friend was stuck in for 30 mins. Had to call staff to unlock from outside. 4. Some stranger ( A black Nigerian lady in bathrobe) tried to open our door (room 33) from outside at 4.00 am in the morning. She was continuously trying to unlock - when we opened the door to check - she was asking for ‘Toilet’. How is this safe? Someone trying to unlock your door at midnight ? Why couldn’t she ask staff? Why to disturb other travellers? That was ridiculously disturbing and we felt very unsafe being in the room. 5. Heating is always the problem in this hotel. Last time in year 2022 when I visited this hotel, I had faced same issues and this time also, radiators were not working. We had to call staff to turn it on. And they kept explaining why it is off and why it won’t turn on.

Does what it says on the tin. Budget place to stop for a quick trip.

Room cleanliness was fine, contrary to other reviews.

Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which certainly makes the hotel worth it.

The location was great. Every destination I needed to visit for my short stay was only 10 minutes walk away.

Similar to another review, the shower was SUPER hot. I came out looking like a cooked lobster.

The deposit seemed a bit intimidating but I got my money back no hassle, so it's fine.

Remarkably clean room, good shower pressure, decent firm bed, fan provided, pretty quiet, usb outlets, lamp reachable by bed. All my usual gripes with hotels were no problem here. The only thing worth knowing is the deposit they get you to bank transfer. They paid it back to me in good time after the stay, but there's no denying it is super sketchy to transfer money to a personal bank account for a deposit. They really should find an alternative way to do this more professionally to put people's minds at ease. I've encountered it at similar hotels in the past and I read another review mentioning it, so I was aware. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat... Really good all considered.

You get what you pay for! Simple but clean rooms in a convenient location. Check in is quite difficult, due to limited staffing hours and poor command of English by staff (mostly Asians and Eastern Europeans). However, I enjoyed my stay and would use this hotel again

This hotel is excellent value if you want a budget option. Sure, the room and bathroom were basic but they were fresh and spotlessly clean and everything you need was provided. Our room was completely quiet - ask for a room located at the back if traffic noise bothers you. The manager was charming and helpful and the other two staff we dealt with briefly were fine.
