Just tried this place for the first time, had a medium breakfast and added bubble as a side, biggest but freshest bubble I’ve ever had in a cafe, would serve three and did ! Meat was all from a local butchers and was delicious, thoroughly recommend, but more expensive than average but defo worth the money, pic doesn’t show the free tea and fried bread

Highly recommended. The food is always excellent. Lovely breakfasts with good quality tasty sausages, perfect fried eggs, crispy bacon (never soggy or greasy). Friendly service, always warm and clean. The best value in town.

Has gone downhill, but the prices have gone uphill. Have used this place b4, and the breakfast was great. However, I went in today £11 for a small breakfast, 2 bacon, 1 egg 1 sausage,tomatoes, and soggy tinned mushrooms 🤮. Ingredients don't justify the price. ohh there was hash browns, too, just tasted of oil.

I popped in while doing a job around the corner. I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and owner and the atmosphere immediately made me feel welcome. The full English breakfast that I ordered was spot on, delicious, well prepared, and clearly made with care. I was surprised by the excellent value for money. The portion sizes were very generous, ensuring that I left feeling completely satisfied. I enjoyed my visit and would happily return in the future. I will not hesitate to recommend the cafe to others who appreciate good food and a welcoming atmosphere.

In Southsea for the weekend and Googled breakfasts near me, We ordered 2 standard 1 midi extra toast and mushrooms. Food was freshly cooked, especially liked the bacon sausages and mushrooms, taste home cooked. Nice ladies taking orders and serving.

Went for breakfast for first time.
Served by a young girl who seemed too young to be working. She was polite, friendly and willing but had clearly not been trained properly and did not know how to do lots of things (including making hot drinks).

Our food arrived before the drinks, and this was the same for most of the tables around us despite lots of prompting. When drinks did arrive the side of the mugs were tea stained. My partner ordered a flat white, as an ex barrister, I can confidently say it was not a flat white. Just warmed milk poured on a shot of coffee.

Food was brought out separately so those at the same table were eating at different times. Nothing to complain about food wise but wasn’t it overly impressed either.

I asked for sliced bread for my sandwich but was given a roll and had waited so long for it that I didn’t correct this.

Cheap sachet sauces.

Several people complained about wait time and others given wrong items.

Some of the above understandable if it was busy and staff/kitchen were overwhelmed but only five tables were occupied and one take away.

Sorry but won’t be coming again. Really disappointed.
