For a budget city centre hotel I have to say the room and facilities were very clean and perfectly adequate. We visited during hot weather and fans were provided in the rooms and external windows behind the double glazed units had been opened. |The staff were excellent. Covering long shifts and undertaking a multitude of duties. Karoline was very helpful and attentive on reception, turning her hand to making evening meals as well. The food was excellent, we enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the evening meals the three days we were there.

Travelling for work on a small grant so booked the cheapest accomodation in central Nottingham that I could find. So not surprising really that there was no hairdryer or aircon but I did appreciate the fan in the room and windows that could open despite the high rise. I confess to feeling a bit depressed on arrival at the "student digs" feel of the room (plain walls, desk and step up shower with flimsy curtain) but the jolly and friendly staff at reception and the decent breakfast options definitely cheered the place up. Was nice to see dairy alternatives and gluten-free cornflakes at breakfast too. Congratulations travel lodge for having staff to make you proud, Leonorah is the only name I caught but all were lovely.

Rooms are sadly very much in need of updating... fabric on bed base ripped.. only one power point.. no phone charging points.. bed was comfortable... bathroom clean but again very basic... hot drink making facilities were very stingy.. one small portion of milk per person... breakfast was nice.. good selection available and was quite nicely presented and fairly fresh..

This isn’t my first time at Travelodge Nottingham Central, and it definitely won’t be my last. The location is spot on, and the rooms are just what you need. A special shoutout to Karolina—her warm, helpful service truly stood out again. She’s a real credit to the team!

I think Travelodge hotels are amazing value and very good quality. This was slightly more expensive and slightly less luxurious than other Travelodges I’ve stayed in, but still represents incredible value and convenience. Highly recommended. The room I stayed in was also very quiet despite being near the city centre.

Very basic rooms (as expected) but very ill fitting double glazing units too, so noise and draughts were very noticeable. Thankfully only one night stop over. Shame really, because staff were great, breakfast was fabulous and evening meal was really good too.

Opted for Travelodge as it's normally a safe bet as far as hotels go. Staff were wonderful and good central location, but on a very busy main road and in an old office building. Rooms are very very small, with other buildings looking right in through the windows (only option is to draw the curtains and have no light). The room was very shabby; carpet peeling up, skirting boards with bad water damage and chipping paint, unsecured cupboard door in the wall leading to the toilets cistern... No hair dryer and no outlets by the bed. The drains stank of sewage when the shower was running.
Not good value for money at all.

Basic. Clean but irritating.
Reception spent many attempts programming room access card at book in.
Got to room six floors up - didn't work!
Two tea bags only.
Back to reception.
Bedside light bulb missing - not even failed (or checked). Window sealed shut.
No us charge points.
30 mins WiFi only!
Pathetic these days.
Cheap and not very cheerful.
Need to up their game.
