My partner and I stayed at the Green Man over the weekend of the 28th/29th July.|We were going to the Shuttleworth Flight Festival that was on that weekend.|The pub is perfectly located just 10 minutes from Old Warden airfield.|The facilities here are very good. The rooms are OK with all that is needed. They are a bit tired but we understand that they are to be refurbished soon.|The menu is very good and there is certainly plenty to choose from. |Finally – the staff! They have got to be some of the most friendly and helpful people that we have met.|So well done to Guy, Adam, Andy, Maria and the others whose names I cannot remember.|You made our weekend complete with your ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude.|We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the Green Man.

We were incredibly well looked after - with the most amazing breakfast in the morning . Despite our very big party of 12 , every need was taken care of. Very friendly service. While the rooms are not huge or particularly stylish they are clean, comfortable & have everything you need .

First time in this beautiful pub last Sunday. It was a belated Birthday celebration/treat 🎂 🥳 from my girl's. The food was absolutely delicious. And the staff were all amazing. So attentive, and extremely helpful and friendly. There was nothing in this wonderful dog friendly pub that I could fault. Will definitely return. Was a great find from one of my Daughter's, who was very impressed too. The whole family loved the place , including our little doggie, nice touch having a jar of treats, and given a bowl of water upon arrival 10/10

Lunchtime treat for my birthday. Staff most welcoming. Excellent menu with plenty of choice. Freshly prepared homemade food to a high quality. Pleasant atmosphere. Superb value, will definitely return. Have no hesitation in recommending.

We stayed for one night bed and breakfast. The room was OK but needs some care and attention, in a chalet style over from the pub itself so quite quiet. Breakfast was disappointing though. Not much choice for the continental no croissants and not offered any toast etc. Poached eggs were hard and no spinach as they had run out!

Stayed Friday night, enroute to south coast. Warm welcome, not busy or loud in bar / restaurant. Food was fabulous food a real standout reason to visit.. Dinner and drinks stood me at 65 quid.. good value great service. Rooms clean tidy and quiet

On the good side: they do a good cooked breakfast (even if the coffee is sachets of Nescafé and an urn of hot water); in a quiet location; and it's convenient for a local wedding venue which recommended them. ||On the other hand - this was drastically overpriced. We were charged £140 a night for a small attic room with a double bed, the window of which had a broken handle and made the room that awful blend of airless and musty; the carpet obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time; and the shower desperately needed a thorough clean as half the showerhead nozzles were blocked with limescale, and the grout and sealant and were covered in mildew. We've stayed in worse, but not when paying a decent nightly rate. ||Sorry to say I would encourage you to avoid.

Excellent Sunday lunch with my wife and son. Belly pork for myself, chicken for my wife - absolutely delicious. Thirteen year old son demolished an excellent sized child's portion of battered haddock, fries and beans. Glad we left room for desserts! Everyone happy with the food and excellent service.
