Visited the Eaton Oak with friends for a catch-up and had a lovely evening in the covered garden area – a beautiful setting, especially on a warm summer evening. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.

I was unaware of the parking restrictions at the time, but Elliot Lewis (Guest Experience Coordinator) went out of his way to help resolve a parking fine by liaising directly with the parking company. I was really impressed by the level of service and support.

Highly recommend – great food, great setting, and excellent customer care.

Loved the accommodation, rooms very clean and well equipped. Staff very nice. Come and go when you like, plenty of space to park our van. Food in bar and breakfast was very good. Wide selection of ales etc.
Would definitely use again. Top marks for me.

Wonderful stay at the Eaton Oak. Beautiful, clean and comfortable room. The staff are so welcoming and helpful with lots of knowledge of the local area. Big shout out to General manager Dan who went above and beyond to help us sort out a problem with our car and made our stay just perfect. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for excellent customer service.

Don't normally leave reviews but this was worthy of some praise. The normal hotels I've stayed in close by were all booked, and I found The Eaton Oak online.

The check in process was nice and easy, very friendly staff and showed me to my room. The rooms are in an annex off the pub but far enough away and between a number of secured doors that I don't think any noise from the pub would be an issue - it was quiet when I visited anyway.

The room itself was spacious, clean and very well decorated with everything you would need (tea, coffee, biscuits, tv, radio, toiletries etc)...... one saving grace was that there was a fan. Unfortunately the rooms don't have air conditioning which would have been nice as I visited over the heatwave, but there was a fan and I don't feel marks should be knocked off for this as its only a couple of times a year air con may really be needed.

I had dinner in the pub which was excellent.

My rate included breakfast which I could choose anything from the menu. Was nice that it was cooked fresh and not a buffet for a change. I had the full english and it was excellent.

Overall I wish I had found this place sooner as my work in that area is now coming to an end, otherwise I would certainly have stopped here again.

Amy in the restaurant was very helpful despite being so busy. She was always pleasant and smiling. The food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was a bit of a let down as they ran out of eggs due to a large group. Sausages were good quality but lukewarm. I did feel for the staff though, the chef must’ve been on their own and there was only one person serving so not ideal for them.

After initial uncertaint about where exactly to check in, all went swimmingly with the check-in and settling-in process. Accommodation staff were very pleasant and helpful. The layout is very convenient with ground floor rooms, and a short walk to the bar area for breakfast. A manageable walk into town to have a look round. ||The room was immculately decorated and well-equipped, even with a small digital radio in retro style - what a nice detail to include! Excellent sleep quality in a comfortable bed; no sound audible from the road outside. Although the corridor outside was overheated, the room itself was a comfortable temperature. A little disconcerting to be faced with an almost full- length mirror along one wall of the bathroom, everything was in good order, apart from the flimsy toilet paper which also fell off repeatedly from the holder.||Breakfast taken in a very attractive sunlounge area of the bar, with staff who could not have been more pleasant. The coffee and fruit juice were of a very good quality. Future guests may wish to be aware the breakfast itself is very much pub-style, just the cooked dish with no cereal or toast. The food was okay, despite the bacon being more fat than meat. ||Overall then the breakfast fell a little short of the price-tag for the stay, hence the star rating I have given. The arrangements for cycle storage could also do with being clearer; not all team members seem to have the same understanding. Otherwise an excellent option, which I would recommend!

Great pub with rooms in the picturesque town of St. Neots. Excellent service at the pub, great breakfast selection, and several options in the menu including, not only, pub classics, but also more elaborated dishes.
Rooms are very spacious, and the bed was super comfy.
There is also plenty of parking space if you are arriving by car.
Definitely, we will chose the Eaton Oak if we visit St. Neots again.

I was asked to check out this hotel for my friend's wedding in St Neots and as a possible stay for some of there guests.

The hotel was nice, with nicely sized rooms, a good bathroom, and good facilities such as tea, coffee, fresh semi-skimmed milk, hot chocolate, and all the typical amenities in the bathroom Iron board, a fan, good storage, a TV with a good amount of chanells and a small radio. There was good housekeeping, and the check-in and check-out times were reasonable. Down side- There is a pick up point for school kids outside the windows, so make sure curtains are closed if getting dressed. Good sound proofing, so not much noise from the road.

The pub has acceptable food, nothing to complain about or write home about; however, I found the breakfast to be better, in my opinion. The selection of beer and wine was fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the whole place seemed well run.

There was plenty of parking and it was a walkable distance into St Neots. All in all, it is worth the money.
