Have to admit the reviews worried me. But...... every business can have an off day, or not be able to keep all customers happy. I arrived 45 mins earlier than check-in time, and was handed the keys to 1 Maple drive straightaway. Reception staff were friendly with no reason to complain at all. For the price I paid, I expected a fairly small caravan, with the usual outdated decor etc. what I got was probably half the size again of what I expected, with an outdoor decking area which was almost as big as the whole floorspace of the caravan. Inside everything was clean, tidy and in good condition. Everything worked as it should, with no issues at all.|All unpacked now, and ready to chill for a nice 3 day break, before the long drive back to Yorkshire 👍.|Well done park team and van owners

Had a fantastic 2 nights away. Cabin was clean, tidy and perfect for our weekend away! A little welcome pack and games for us to play. Hot tub was 39 degrees all weekend so a lovely temperature. We went to the Full Moon pub for lunch on Saturday, easy to get to and fantastic location. Definitely be back.

I stayed here for a long weekend. Friday to Monday. I stayed with my partner, 4 children and a dog. There was an initial mix up with the booking, involving our dog staying. This is feel was partially down to the booking system through Hoseasons. This was however, quickly sorted out after a discussion with the manager, Dean, who I found to be helpful and polite. So a massive tick for customer service.

The site is clean and very well maintained. Lovely for walks in the woods with the dog. It is a relaxing break. Not loads to do on site for the kids (teenagers) but there is very good WiFi! Our Lodge had a jacuzzi which was lovely to relax in.

There is a very small on site shop but it is minimal. However, there are lots of large supermarkets within 5 miles and several lodges had booked shopping deliveries so you don't have to leave site if you don't want to. There are also several pubs, restaurants and fast food places within 10 minutes drive of the site.
I'd recommend this place and would stay again.

Brokerswood is a quiet countryside lodge park. It is in a great location for exploring the area, with Longleat, Bath, Laycock just a short drive which was why we chose it. The staff were friendly and helpful, you can get a discount for Longleat by booking through their office.
The problem is that the lodges are privately owned and sub let by the site. You are therefore dependent on the owners care and attention to detail, so my review is only for 19 maple tree. At first we were very pleased, lots of room, big deck, kitchen clean. However after the first night realised the beds were awful, I have skipped better mattresses, it actually went boing when you moved. On complaining staff agreed, but they have to contact owner, so not before our weekend was over! They provided two single winter duvets as a matress topper not a whole lot better. Furniture and carpets were grubby, and if you have young children no safety catches on lid of the hot tub, do four year old immediately lifted it up! Such a shame that this could have been a great review from a satisfied customer. I feel the site need to take responsibility for inspecting units, as a bad review reflects badly on their reputation and another lodge on the site my have given us a totally different experience.

The site is in a quiet wooded location and a good position for exploring the area. Bath, Longleat, Laycock all within an easy drive. The shop on site has milk but a limited supply of anything else so bring your own groceries. THERE IS NO WIFI, CODE DOES NOT CONNECT YOU TO INTERNET. PHONE IS SPOTTY AND DID NOT GET CONNECTION IN LODGE.|Lodge was clean and basics, towel, washing up liquid, dishwasher 1 tab. |Be aware that lodges are privately owned and sub let by site, therefore you are at the mercy of an owner with care and attention to detail. This lodge review is for 19 Maple Tree. At first glance the lodge, bathrooms etc are clean. The furniture is rather grubby. Children go on deck, 4 year old lifts hot tub lid 18 month old sticks head in! No safety clips on tub, be aware! Miss matched decking furniture. Roomy lodge with two doubles with ensure so ideal for family and grandparents. Sadly as we found on first night BEDS ARE DREADFUL. We had the comedy matress that actually goes boing and the springs stick in you. The other double had a distinct slope, a double matress on a king-size base. Staff agreed matress was poor, up to owners to replace, we got 2 single winter duvets to act as toppers. The blind also did not keep the dawn sunlight from waking you at 4am! So relieved only there for 3 nights. I feel that the company subletting should be responsible for checking these things, as it is their reputation that gets tarnished and other owners may find lettings fall off. I would not return.

Stayed from Monday - Friday and had a great week in the forest (comfort pod) cannot fault the location, listening to the trees while in the hot tub!
The pod however needs a lot of TLC. Toilet stained, shower seal gone, sofa unusable, spider webs all over (that had visibly) been there a while and floor under the bed was dirty (hadn’t been swept prior to us arriving). Would be lovely if a bit of money was spent on it and it was refurbished.

I feel the need to express my disappointment on my most recent visit, this was my 5th visit to the park. ||Having received the lodge location email in the morning, we were allocated no. 16, we unpacked and found the welcome note, which was addressed to Lee, I called reception and was told it should have in fact been in no.6., as the park was full, we had to move, as you can imagine this was a right pain with 2 little girls. Our new lodge, according to Hoseasons was “an up to date home, this is one of our newest on park”, we later found out it was 4years old and not the in the best condition, it also stated it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, we only had 1 bathroom, the drawers in both bedrooms were falling apart and we were unable to open them (when we complained to Reception, they did send someone immediately to fix it) but when checking out, we were unable to open the drawers again, the hot tub was apparently all working as we contacted reception again about this, however having had a few other holidays with hot tubs, they were very little bubbles, the flooring had seen better days and needed replacing and the furniture in the lounge was all chipped and also needed to be replaced.||I am not one for complaining, but this was a true disappointment, my friend and I take our little girls away every and will not be coming back.

We stayed at the lodge for three nights and while it was pleasant enough for a short break, I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer. The lodge itself was quite basic and showed noticeable signs of wear and tear, which was disappointing—especially given that we’ve stayed in better Hoseasons properties for significantly less.||Upon arrival, after a long five-hour drive with young children, it was frustrating to find there was no toilet roll in either bathroom. We had to head straight to the nearest supermarket just to grab basic essentials, which really took the edge off our arrival. The lodge was missing a number of amenities we’d usually expect as standard: no tea towels, no hand wash in one bathroom, no hairdryer, and just one washing-up sponge and a single dishwasher tablet provided.||The living area and decking were pleasant, but the bedrooms felt quite cramped for a family of five. Customer service also left much to be desired. Check-in was minimal—just a name check and a key handed over, with no map or directions to the lodge. I ended up having to rely on the map from their website. At check-out, there was again no engagement from staff—no “How was your stay?”||The lodge site didn't offer as much as seemed to be advertised - the lake wasn't much to write about. Nor was the play area which was minimal and only really suited for young toddlers. ||That said, the location was excellent for exploring the local area, including Longleat and Worthy Farm, which we really enjoyed. However, given the overall experience, we’d likely look for alternative accommodation if visiting this area again.
