We went months ago and spent a week at Hastings. We had breakfast every morning at this place and sometimes a burger on way home too. Fella there was sound he was there every day bar one then it was a younger lad who had music up louder so we sat outside. Great grub, good service and decent prices. 5 stars and leaving this review now because we are coming down again in a couple months without the kids this time and first thing we searched? The Gshack Menu! 5 stars.

Ordered a banana milkshake - but what came out didn't make me think that's lovely. I would have preferred a glass than a red tumbler. The young girls serving were in and out of the cafe with their phones. The man behind the counter acknowledged us but the young girls treated all the customers with no warmth.

Best food ever! All the staff are lovely and great service they provide. You can tell that everything they make is fresh. Quick service which is great especially if you’re hungry. Best burgers i’ve ever tried, and they even have a vegan menu. I 100% recommend this place and there prices are also reasonable.

If you read my posts I say it like it is. Some good, some bad and some indifferent.

This place was amazing. I had a double burger and bacon.
My son had chicken burger.cwe decided to share some fries.Glad we did as the portion was huge. Good quality skin on fries.

Burgers were high quality patties. not your kebab shop frozen nonsense.

We sat out in the summer sun with a nice view.

1st time we used them no fries arrived, called them no answer. Burger was good though and wife's chilli fries also good. Tried them again and fancied a hot dog. The cheapest nasty chip shop sausage, not a frankfurter, basically a cheap sausage in a roll for a tenner. Won't be back.

Went on the 11th May. The place was empty but the service was bad. Both orders were wrong and both the chief and staff members were hanging with friends outside on the pier. They corrected the order but drinks weren't served. Had to wave them back inside and remind them about the drinks. We only got our drinks once we were ready to leave.

They asked how the food was and we were honest and said it was bad. Nothing else came from the interaction. We were happy to leave. Wouldn't recommend and is too pricey for what it was. Not to mention the place wasn't tidy. Our table had someone else's half eaten food. Would understand if it was busy, but we were the only ones there.

I don't make a habit of leaving bad reviews, but save your money. I'm sure there are plenty of other nice places in the area.

loved it!! burgers were amazing and start were so friendly along with providing water and love to our dogs.
Although a portion of food did not show up on the receipt they quickly fixed it and apologised. probably one of the best burger shacks i’ve ever been to.

Really lovely food. And brilliant portion size. Really can’t complain for the money. Really would recommend for family
