Clean, well-appointed rooms (our room had a little fridge) with wonderful sea views. We will definitely stay again. Lovely, friendly staff but the visiting gull was quite demanding!

Lovely sea view room. Clean and comfy. Really good nights sleep. Pleased to have a bath. Basic but functional and comfortable and clean. Very close to beach and Hastings town centre. Welcoming host. Parking (street meter) directly outside. Would be happy to stay again.

Lovely little bijou hotel with 12 rooms and no other facilities. Fantastic seafront location with on street limited parking. Hotel can offer adjacent parking at £2.00 but is restricted and does not cover 11am to 4pm. Proprietor was charming and she upgraded us to a lovely room with a balcony and sea view. Loads of hot water in a refurbished bathroom. Steep staircase and no lift but that is explained in advance. Would not hesitate to stay there again great value for money and located in the town centre

Amazing sea view from second floor. The waves act as a natural sound proofing to any neighbouring rooms so very peaceful. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and held my bag on the last day so I could look around freely before catching my evening train. Some might consider the decor dated but I liked it, it gave it an old school charm.

No breakfast, but plenty of places near by. I recommend the Castle View Cafe, a few minutes away.

The communication from the hotel was very good. I thought I might need to cancel because the hotel doesn't have a lift but the hotel said we could have a ground floor room. |We had a lovely welcome and showed our room which was very bright and clean. The beds were comfortable, there was tea and coffee, a fridge, iron and hairdryer. The bathroom was very nice, would have been nice to have a shower.|Location was good and parking was easy in the underground carpark. We woll book again if we come back to Hastings.

It’s a shame the weather was so bad, meaning we had to stay at the hotel.

Great view but we had to keep the curtains closed to stop the breeze.

Leaking and breezy windows.

Someone was wondering the corridors asking us for money for food. I let the lady know at the check in and we had no update regarding cctv on who they were.

We felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. We left a day early.

First time staying here. Was a tad disappointed as there was no reception, no bar, no breakfast option, literally just a lady to give me a key and a room. Seemed to be work going on here too.
The room itself was more importantly clean with clean towels and sheets. A kettle with coffee and tea making facilities also. The added balcony with sea view was great but it was shared with the room next door so felt awkward.
Walls are paper thin too so could hear conversations of the guest in the room next to me word for word as well as snoring.
Rooms could also do with some TLC as paint was flaking all over.
The bed was OK but I was so tired I slept fairly well.
All in all, no thrills hotel that needs some love. Clean enough for a sleep though.

Great room with sea view, very clean and really nice staff giving us advice and a better room than booked. Can recommend if you want to stay close to the beach and city center with cafes around the corner 👌🏻
