Nice friendly woman who showed me the room but this a locals pub. No breakfast and no evening meals that are advertised on various websites and nothing in walking distance. Shame because it seemed to be a place to go for meals in the past. I've heard nothing but great reviews on the meals from colleagues who live there. Now a OYO....which is owned by an Indian company for cheap stays. Lovely room though. Very clean, quiet and warm.

Did not have a good nights sleep, beds whey to soft, shower runs hot then cold, and the worst was the internet speed as it was unusable even at 7am in the morning. Place was clean and tidy, nice staff. Because of the internet will not book again.

Clean an tidy room, lovely crisp bedding and comfy matress we slept really well. Room overlooked the pub yard was very quiet. Staff very helpful offering take out menus and directions to local chippy which they had no problem with us eating in the bar. Bathroom a tad small and no towel rail, bin and flooring could have gone with replacing but didn’t bother us for one night it was clean ! Very good standard for budget accommodation well done !!

A good welcome and we had somewhere to store the motorbikes out of view. The room was comfortable, tidy and reasonably well kept. The bathroom was clean. Take away menus were available and we went to Georges close by where we got an unexpected mountain of food (too much to eat). I'm sure it went to a good cause in the end!! There is no breakfast available but I'm sure you could find one nearby.
Overall cheap and cheerful the locals are friendly and the place was just what we needed and near to Seaham our destination.

Welcoming staff, decent price for a beer and a gin in the pub downstairs. Was some entertainment in the pub but by 23:30 absolute silence. Other reviews have commented on the bouncy beds, they are indeed very bouncy but I slept very well. No food options are available but there was a microwave in reception. Would stay again.

Nice place to visit, we came for a quick weekend so wasn't after anything fancy, we booked the family room, it was nice and spacious for us and our 3 toddlers. Room was nice and clean, one of the single beds had a tough mattress so wasn't a very pleasant sleep for me the first night, came morning I sneaked onto the double bed with my kids and slept amazing.

When we first got there it was a little confusing as there's a door to the left that says reception and then the pub on the right but there was no one at reception and no bell to ring or anything so we just figured out we had to go and ask in the pub. The lady that saw it us was lovely and helpful.

The Inn is located in a lovely area with lots to do locally, lots of shops, restaurants etc.

The pub music does come through to the room but it isn't too loud and not something you can't sleep through

First of all, every member of staff was excellent in terms of service and friendliness. Absolutely brilliant.
The hotel was very dog friendly and totally welcoming.
The bed was comfortable and relaxing.
Location wise, not brilliant if you don't want to drive. Taxi's at the weekend in the evening we're difficult to get. Nothing within easy walking range restaurant wise, though you can bring food into the hotel area.
The room was small, even more so with a dog. On leaving, the service staff said they woul have allocated us a larger room had they known about the dog. The Oyo booking agent hadn't mentioned the dog, even though we had told them. Recommend booking directly with the hotel.
Big problem is the external noise. Overlooking the pub courtyard, it got very noisy at times. Fortunately, the pub closes at 11.00 ish so sleep was not disturbed.
The shower riser did not work but that was the only issue with the bathroom.
Overall, a very pleasant stay. The staff and locals were very friendly and welcoming. Pity they don't do food. We would return.

Room was great value for money even with last minute booking on the day!
Clean and well presented, even a little bigger than we thought it would be.
Probably one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in in a hotel and it was nice and warm, thankfully as there was snow, with a large radiator which was easily controlled though if it were to be hot.
The locals in the pub downstairs were super friendly and helpful with taxis in the local area, chipping in helping the wonderful female staff member which sadly her name slips me. She was a great host being super friendly and welcoming upon our arrival and through our time there.
