My partner and I stayed here last night (28th June) and what a little gem of a place it is. Communication was fab around collecting the keys to our room from a lock box, and info regarding WiFi and parking etc. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely girl at the bar. We had a sharing platter which was packed with delicious meats and cheeses and after mentioning I was vegetarian I was also brought out some hummus and pitta which was a very kind thought. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and with everything needed for an overnight stay, it was also exceptionally clean. There was a fridge, iron and ironing board, fan, tea and coffee making facilities and cute toiletries also. We live fairly locally in Sunderland and neither of us had really spent much time in Seaham before. We had a great day with fab weather visiting the many lovely bars nearby, there are also some great restaurants. We would definitely come again and would undoubtedly stay at the Londonderry again! Love what they are doing here and wish the guys running the place great success 🙌

My husband and I stayed here last night, meeting up with family visiting from Plymouth. We stayed in the family room overlooking the sea. The room was spacious and had all amenities needed. The owners have done a very good job with this old building. We spent an evening in the hotel bar and the service from the young lady was truly wonderful. She was attentive and friendly, nothing was too much bother to her; she made us a fabulous cheese board, which was delicious. Good variety of drinks, including non alcoholic options, which was very welcome. It was self check in and out and this worked very well. I received a code on the day of arrival so that I could retrieve my keys from the safe box. It was easy to park in the free car park at the back of the building. Be mindful that the rooms are on the top level, so up two flights of stairs. However, worth it for the view if you are in one of the rooms at the front of the building.

We wanted to stay in Seaham to collect sea glass from the beach. Londonderry rooms served us well. Took us a while to find, but we asked the local postman who guided us to the owners seaglass jewellery shop as the key pick up details were emailed that morning while we were on the road travelling, wasn't a problem that we arrived early the owner took us to our room which after walking into the shared hallway with the stale smell of the attached Indian restaurant we were really pleased to enter our Seaview room which was immaculately clean smelling of apples ,had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Had a brilliant undisturbed sleep .The beach is a stones throw away and with great places to eat nearby . We had breakfast at the Humble around the corner as they offered gluten-free options .would we stay here again ? YES DEFINITELY !!|| |

I’ve visited here a few times for wine and charcuterie with my partner or friends and it’s always been lovely. Last night was a little different as we booked a private wine tasting with my own parents and my partners and it was amazing. A range of wines and snacks and super friendly hosts! Would recommend it to anyone and will defo be arranging another one!

Good bits - it’s a spacious and wsrm room, with a nice sea view ( photo attached ) |Bad bits - 3 mugs for coffee/tea and 2 of them were filthy ( photo attached ) |the Netflix which is the only option on the tv to use, didn’t work. So no tv at all available. ( photo attached ) |The main issue we had was that the room is directly above a bar, the sound insulation is non existent, when sat in the room it was like being inside the bar as you literally hear everything going on. You will not be able to go to bed and sleep, until the bar closes.

Absolutely fantastic. Regular at this fine establishment but recently done a wine tasting in the new private room. From start to finish, Andy & Gavin were brilliant. Very knowledgeable about the wines provided and some beautiful dishes that worked really well with each wine. Attentive service throughout, really good value for money and top notch wine and food. Get involved people, this place is a belter

Stayed here as was joining friends at a wine tasting here too. Lovely stay, Andy is a super star, the wines were brilliant and you can't beat waking up to the sun over sea. ||Think I'll bring my partner next time. I highly recommend this place. Thanks

Very pleasant room. Well stocked with every requirement. Ideally located for the beach and harbour areas. Free car park at the rear. Fridge was a welcome addition to the services provided. Good ensuite. No staff on site but good communication meant that we knew how to access the property and what to do when we left. Very keenly priced. Highly recommended.
