Considering Wisley as a premium destination, their catering is woeful. Limited food choices, quality lacking and many items not available. Lack of staff clearing outside areas leaving tables to the mercy of the local wildlife. Pull your socks up Wisley. You can do better.

A more appropriate name for this establishment might be ‘Company of Microwave Technicians’. It’s pretty shameful that the RHS allows this shambles to continue.

Food is both poor quality and extremely overpriced. The soup I had today was far too salty - not something any self-respecting chef would have put out for sale.

I had my last meal here today. Will opting for picnics from now on.

My friend had fish and chips @ £14:95. I had quiche and veg @ £12:50, Tiny triangle with a spoon of carrots, quiche overcooked and dried out. Not the first time either.£27.45 for two lunches in a cafe. They need to be less greedy as the portions have shrunk and the prices have gone up and the quality is not what it used to be. I used to look forward to lunch in the cafe but will be avoiding it. I visit often. Very over priced and no competition so can get away with it.

I am getting fed up with the catering at RHS Wisley. A serious lack of staff, unclean floors and poor choice of food. Company of Cooks need to sort themselves out, it is disgusting. Only one position to pay by cash but unmanned so coffee cold by the time we sat down. Sign says they apologise for using disposable cups plates etc due to problems with machinery. This has been the situation for months, some people may prefer paper cups, I would if cheaper, but no choice. Hope they don't win the contract next time.

Had tea and cake in conservatory cafe. Over 21 pounds for 4 cups of tea and four cakes!! Very expensive. Also, tea served in paper cups and paper plates used for cakes because mechanical breakdown meant no crockery available. New outside chairs very uncomfortable and sunshades are far too small.
Company of Cooks need to "get with it" at these prices.

Food ok in cafe nearthe big greenhouse, but plates to take away hot food were polystyrene; cups waxed paper; knives and forks, plastic; salad in plastic containers with lids. Utterly appalling in this day and age. RHS should be ashamed to allow it. I'd tried for a hot meal in the main cafe first, but gave up waiting as I've never seen anyone put food on a plate as slowly as the woman who was serving.

Very overpriced but friendly staff and nice food. Very busy and hard to find seating during busy half term period. So expensive though.
