Hope and Ben explained where the night box was as we arrived late, instructions were perfect. The grounds are kept so well, the staff were so helpful and nice. They made us feel special. The bedlinen, towels and pillows were good quality, beds comfy. We could not ask for more. We will be returning

We have stayed in Bude many times but this is the first time at Pentire Coastal Holiday Park. We were phoned around midday on the day of arrival to say our Platinum 2 bedroom caravan was ready, we could check in early. That was a nice gesture.

The caravan was to a very high standard, immaculate and very clean. The views from the decking were fantastic. Walking around the site, it’s very quiet. It’s well maintained, the groundsmen do a first class job.

On the second day, maintenance came to the caravan to check everything was ok, any problems to contact them.

The location in Kilkhampton is 5 miles from Bude, 10 minutes and you are in Summerleaze car park.

We booked for 4 nights, we were able to extend for an extra night. We would have stayed longer if we hadn’t got commitments.
Thanks to all the staff who were very friendly and helpful. You made our stay very enjoyable.
We will definitely return.

Lovely quiet site.
We had an excellent platinum caravan with a fabulous view.
Friendly professional staff, including Pete. Who came around to check everything was to our satisfaction.

Nothing on this site but if a quiet time is what you want it's perfect if you have kids they will be bored
Staff are very friendly and any problems sorted out very very fast .
Very dog friendly and the walks are amazing with amazing views.
Very clean very well kept and maintained just needs a little shop or a bar just to make it 10/10 well done to all staff making our stay nice and relaxed

Great site, no pub/club house but thats what we wanted, great location just 10 minutes from bude. Our pet friendly van was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend

Very quiet. Immaculately clean. Very dog friendly with walks, dog cleaning area, poo bags, enclosed exercise space. A children's play area. No shop or clubhouse.

I'm normally not the sort of person who leaves reviews but I feel that I have to (reluctantly) leave this review and I'm sorry it's so negative. We booked the most expensive lodge available on the website which appeared to be in a nice open area of the park with a view and some privacy. The lodge turned out to be very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable however the location of the lodge in the park was very disappointing being jammed in amongst the cheaper caravans, very overlooked and no view. You really don't expect this if you purposely pay for the highest level of lodge available and the online photos show it being in an open field, well spaced out from other lodges and with views. We have had several lodge holidays and on all occasions we have been happy with the location on the site but this is the first time we feel let down and disappointed. My main reason for booking at Pentire was because the premium lodges appeared to have privacy and something of a view instead of just caravans. I did complain to the reception and the nice lady was very sympathetic and explained that the other premium lodges with a view and more privacy were fully booked so we were unfortunate we ended up where we were. I do believe that Pentire should be more transparent and upfront about the lodges location especially when you're paying for the most expensive lodge. If I had know this would be the case I would have booked at a different park or stayed in an air b&b.
