We had a lovely stay in Leworthy Farmhouse. Neil and Kirsty were really welcoming and great hosts. The view from the large landing window adjacent to our room, had beautiful countryside views and overlooks their private lake. They also keep free range chickens in their grounds, and my daughter enjoyed going down to collect their eggs in the morning.
Located in a peaceful area, and only a stones throw away from Holsworthy, it was the perfect place to stay to attend a local wedding.

Quiet and relaxing place. We stayed with two kids and the huge garden was a big bonus. Excellent & freshly cooked breakfast. Very clean & tidy house. Thanks a million to Kirsty & Neil for making this stay fantastic. Free parking is available as well as tea/coffee facilities. The honesty bar is a great plus.

Our initial plan had been to stay at a different property but, due to an unforeseen change in circumstances, we and our German friends found ourselves staying with Neil and Kirsty at Leworthy Farmhouse. It turned out this was a massive stroke of good fortune. We don't find ourselves in the West Country very often due to the distance but if I was to try to imagine the perfect Devon B&B, it would be Leworthy Farmhouse (it would be perfect anywhere actually). It's surrounded by quiet, rural Devon country lanes but isn't at all far from Holsworthy if you need any of the amenities a town can offer. Neil and Kirsty are very warm and friendly; easy-going and easy to chat to. The rooms are great, well-appointed, clean etc. The shower in Room 5 is awesome. Breakfast includes bacon, sausage, hog's pudding and eggs - all sourced directly from the farm and all delicious. There are plenty of alternative options for those who prefer continental. Kirsty also makes chocolate brownie and lemon drizzle cake to which guests are invited to help themselves. |I don't tend to write reviews very often but Leworthy Farmhouse has motivated me enough to log on. If we ever find ourselves back in this part of the West Country, we'll be straight on to Neil and Kirsty to see if we can stay with them. If you're looking for a place in the area, don't look any further.

We had a fantastic stay at Leworthy Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. We were attending a wedding at the nearby Old Rectory in Pyworthy. So the location was perfect for us. The hosts were very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. The breakfasts were amazing and the lemon drizzle cake and brownies delicious as well. The room was lovely and the shower was fantastic, so powerful, that I had to turn down the pressure. All in all a great stay. Highly recommended.

My wife, her mum and I spent the weekend at the Leworthy Farmhouse as my mother-in-law is visiting UK for the first time and we wanted to show her the countryside life in England as she loves nature and the peace and quiet of the countryside. We really had a great time. The family owning the farmhouse gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The room given was excellent and well maintained with soft beds and pillows, a neat bathroom and beverage provisions. We had the pleasure to interact with the family and a couple who was staying at the farmhouse for a week. It was really the kind of atmosphere we were looking for. The breakfasts were amazing and we enjoyed every moment. We will definitely consider coming here again in future. Thank you for accommodating us and for your services.

A beautiful room with the most stunning views of the garden and the lake. ||The garden houses the chickens and pigs who can be visited when walking in the garden or you can relax with a coffee or lunch at one of the garden tables and benches.||The location is very tranquil and relaxing and only 25 minutes from Bude or a little more to some of the beautiful Devon and Cornish coast line.||The breakfast consisted of home produced bacon, sausage and egg alongside the locally produced hog pudding which was simply delightful and some of the best ingredients I have tasted.||The hosts, Nick and Kirsty are very welcoming and knowledgable on the local area and were very supportive throughout.||Overall our experience was very good and very much appreciated.

A great place to stay in the countryside. A warm welcome from the hosts, the BEST chocolate brownies! lovely home cooked breakfast brought out by Neil who is a fountain of knowledge and if he doest know he finds out. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing place with amazing hosts. The owners are so friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast included was 10/10. You get to choose what you want the night before and then it’s freshly made when you come down in the morning, juices and hot drinks are available. The rooms were really comfy and we would definitely stay agin! Thank you Neil and Kirsty for a lovely stay!
