Commentary only on food as we didnโ€™t stay in the hotel. We ate here on Saturday night. It was such a surprising spot, homegrown produce, prepared with flare. Just so so so good. Props to Monique the chef!

We received a lovely welcome from the owners and all the staff, and they had picked up that my dad was gluten free and took time to go over the many gluten free options.

Absolutely loved our two night stay here last week. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and enjoyed both nights immensely. We sat next to the crackling open fire with our wine and ate delicious home cooked food. We especially loved the lamb tagine and the chocolate brownies were the best we've tasted! Kit also cooks a great breakfast. The restaurant and the apartment were beautifully decorated and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. The hosts Monique and Kit were just fabulous, thanks guys! We enjoyed a chilled couple of nights and will definitely return for another stay during 2025.

A lovely pub with friendly owners, superb food and a cosy atmosphere. Our family of 2 adults & 2 teens had a fantastic Sunday lunch with really high quality food. Often pubs get away with cutting corners on things like deserts, but not here. Even the ice-cream served on the side with the (obviously homemade) crumble was outstandingly good.

FANTASTIC - food, room and staff (well owners) were exemplory in fact perfect. Our room was exceptionally charming, cozy, and clean. Food- breakfast and dinner were perfect - both on quality and variety. Car parking is easy as its outside - note room access is via external stairs not an issue for us but it needs to be mentioned.

We dined at Molesworth Arms to celebrate our friend's birthday and go out for a meal together with our friends on our last day at Clawford Lakes.

Monique and Keith were both very warm, welcoming and friendly. We had booked the table for 7 over the phone and we would recommend anyone visiting to do the same. We ordered the pies from their Thursday menu and each one of us who had the pie were left wanting for more. They were exceptionally tasty, with good quality produce used to make them. We also ordered their slow cooked venison and lamb shank which was succulent. We are a fan of Greek food and decided to order 2 sides of broken potatoes and feta. Absolutely everything hit the spot. The desserts were also mouthwatering. We ordered brownies and toffee. We would highly recommend this pub if you are in the area and staying at Clawford lakes. It is a 12-13 minute drive from the lakes. We were looked after and felt the food and the hospitality both were of an exceptionally high standard.
