We had an amazing wedding day at Voewood in September - we chose the venue because we loved that we could hire the house for the whole weekend and bring in our own suppliers & caterers without any rules or restrictions. We also really wanted a weekend wedding where we could have quality time with our guests by making it Friday - Sunday and sleeping 40 on site in the venue.

For the wedding day, we got married at a local Church before returning to Voewood for drinks reception on the terrace, then dinner in a stretch tent in the kitchen garden. The tent worked so well, as it wasn't visible from the terrace so it was a lovely surprise for guests as they took their seats for dinner. After the dinner we moved back to the Voewood main hall for pavlova cutting, cocktails and dancing, and then of course into Pink Lloyds after midnight. The different spaces worked really well for the different parts of the day and we loved that we could make it our own this way. Our guests also loved exploring the quirky house and looking at all the art and history!

The team at Voewood went above and beyond to accommodate our vision with our fabulous suppliers. They were incredibly adaptive given the non ideal summer weather, working closely with us and our team to ensure every detail was perfect.

There’s truly no place quite like Voewood. Each room tells a story, and the outdoor spaces are breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate our love.

My husband and I got married at Voewood in May. We had the best weekend celebrating with our family and friends. Voewood is the perfect wedding venue for couples who want something a bit quirky and different. We loved the house and beautiful grounds, which you can tailor to suit your needs. The team at Voewood were great to work with. We wish we could do it all again!

Voewood was an absolute dream of a wedding venue. We were in love from the first visit! It gave us the perfect space to spend a whole weekend with our friends and family as well as throwing a huge party for the wedding day itself! Sarah and Melanie were incredibly helpful and communicative in the lead up to the wedding as well as the weekend itself. The house is unlike anywhere else - full of surprises and character. The perfect venue if you want to put your own stamp on your day.

There is something truly magical about Voewood.

Voewood was the only wedding venue we viewed, and we fell in love with it instantly.

The house is quirky, magnificent, and homely all in one.

We wanted an intimate venue that wasn't a stately home or a barn, and we wanted our family and friends to be able to stay with us. Voewood was the perfect fit.

The club in the basement was incredible and all of our guests loved it. We are big party people and the house lends itself to a party atmosphere.

The team at Voewood were so accommodating and supportive throughout, nothing was too much trouble.

I came for a wedding and the venue is very beautiful, lots of art around, quite unique rooms. Had the whole house to look around which was quite nice. All the staff were very lovely and very helpful. The only downside was the food. I'm not sure if it's because I had dietary requirements but the food was bland and devoid of flavour, which was quite disappointing.
