Hosted by the lovely Pauls, every aspect of our stay was absolutely top notch. Breakfasts were amazing and made with great care and imagination using the very best ingredients. The room and bathroom were perfect and everywhere you turn there is beautiful art and furniture. Very relaxing and hugely recommended. You couldn’t wish for a better place to stay.

A unique experience, beautifully restored house close to the centre on Aylsham. The 'Paul's' made me very welcome and I was comfortable in the cosy bedroom. The house is full of fascinating art work and more books on art than I've seen in the British library!|Breakfast was delicious with seasonal fruit, cooked breakfast, homemade jams - I could go on.|I am very late posting this, apologies.

The Paul’s are lovely, made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. Beautiful bedroom, so cosy. Stunning art work on every wall and surface. You’ll never tire of looking around this beautifully restored building, lots of books to maintain the distraction too.

We have recently returned from a 3 night stay at Tinsmiths House and we had a great time. We stayed in the room with the bathroom that was across the hall- the room itself is a generous size with sofa and chair and the TV has Sky (little things!). There is a good light up mirror for make up and a hairdryer in the room. The mattress was a little on the hard side for us but that’s personal preference only- the bedding was good quality. The bathroom is lovely and the shower is a good pressure. We never saw anyone when crossing the hall to the bathroom!||||Paul and Paul were fab hosts and offered lots of advice and ideas for trips out. They also cook amazing breakfasts which definitely set you up for the day- no need for lunch! We were offered cereals, fresh fruit, natural yoghurt, toast and whatever cooked fare we requested the day before. I was lucky enough to sample Paul’s courgette and goats cheese frittata, smashed avocado on toast and smoked salmon and my meat lover husband enjoyed a full English each day. The tomatoes done in the Aga are divine! We were also very grateful to Paul who offered us a lift to Blickling as we were going to the concert there and walking there and back- they also were kind enough to share their fridge space so we could chill some wine to take and even let us borrow a cool bag- little things like this made our stay great! Thankyou so much!||||The B+B is also Home to two lovely dogs who are friendly but the hosts do make sure you’re happy with them and if not will keep them out of the way.||||Ps:||If you are staying here Paul and Paul recommended a pub/ restaurant for food called the Gunton Arms but we could not get in as you have to book far in advance- book ahead if you want to go!

As we stepped over the threshold, we knew that we'd love our stay at Tinsmith's House. The owners, Paul & Paul, welcome you into their home, a beautifully restored historic building within Aylsham. It's tastefully decorated, you feel like you're in a gallery, surrounded by fascinating pieces of contemporary art (their other business). We stayed in Elephant Room; plenty of space and a lovely walk-in shower within the en-suite bathroom. The photos and descriptions on their website are absolutely accurate, and everything was as perfect as we expected it to be. We felt the off-peak weekly rate was exceptionally good value, and this is without doubt the premiere B&B business in Aylsham. We'll certainly be making plans to stay again, thank you.

We have just had what can only be described as the most perfect 2 night B&B stay at this wonderful property!||||It really is the most beautifully styled, wonderfully comfortable place we’ve ever stayed at on a break in the UK, welcomed so warmly by Paul and Paul and beautiful, gentle Cleo, the labradoodle.||||Our en suite room was amazing, the interior design throughout is stunning and the bed and space was so comfortable, with a beautiful selection of coffee, tea pigs and fresh milk. Breakfast are to die for, beautiful offerings of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, and an amazing veggie breakfast of halloumi, scrambled tofu, spinach, mushroom, tomato, toast … Simply no way we could manage any other food until late afternoon!! ||||The setting is peaceful and perfect; there’s loads of free parking bang opposite, and a lovely 5 minute stroll takes you into the charming town with quaint shops and lovely pubs/restaurants. The drives on both days to north and east Norfolk coastlines were only a very picturesque half hour away. It really is the perfect hidden gem to stay at and explore the region, and our hosts were so helpful with suggestions and local knowledge. ||||We can’t recommend this beautiful place highly enough! Paul and Paul, you have created a very special space for your visitors and we will be back for sure!
