Stunning hotel with everything you need to relax. From arriving at the beautiful village of Helmsley, to parking in the complimentary car park, the hotel is set amongst the village centre, which is lovely. We had the privilege of being upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely gesture, the room was outstanding, with A/C, lounge, bedroom and spacious bathroom. The spa facilities are superb, outdoor heated pool, saunas, steam room and such. The staff are all very helpful, the younger staff are very friendly too. Evening meal is outstanding, not surprised they have 2 rosettes, well deserved. If you can buy an offer package, the whole experience is very good value for money. The local amenities are right outside your door. All in all, from all the quality hotels we’ve visited around the world, this is one of our favourites.

Spent my birthday there. The receptionist was a very pleasant and helpful young lady. Our room was comfy and spacious. The only let down was the guy behind the bar when we came back for a drink at 9.30pm. Didn't want to be there. We mentioned this to the receptionist as we left the following morning and she said she would investigate the matter. Good location .

We stayed here last weekend, |Service from some of the staff is fantastic, from the remaining it is poor at best, some of the younger staff don't seem to be able to answer basic questions. |The afternoon tea was very good but the rooms are a disappointment, or at least the room we stayed in (room 4) was a bit drab and could do with a make over, it didn't match the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel, and quite honestly has over priced for what it was. |The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was the biggest letdown one of the two meals was fine ( venison) but certainly didn't live up to the price tag.|the cauliflower main was the worst dish, avoid at all cost, it was simply boiled cauliflower with some bland puree and a very watery sauce and for the price it was expected it would have some serious flavour. The waitress asked when collecting the plates if everything was OK, we did explain all this at the time, but no apology was offered or anything to make up for the disappointing meal. |Overall the stay was poor and the only redeeming point was the afternoon tea, |With the pricing of the hotel food and drinks so high we were expecting more.|Sadly I don't thibk we would choose to visit again |

Nice stay with car parking on site . Enjoyed outdoor pool and hot tub on a sunny October afternoon really nice area .Spa relatively small .Hotel has plenty of lounge areas to relax and unwind . We stopped on B and B basis and breakfast was very good and service by all staff was excellent. Our room was a bit of s let down quite dated with miss matched furniture and the bathroom was also quite dated and shower lacked pressure/ power. Refreshments in room were good with lovely coffee and provision of robes and flip flops in the room great for spa use..Beds were very comfirtable .and rooms very clean.Radiator didnt work in our room but found heater in wsrdrobe ! Reception did say this would be seen too once it was reported .Great location for the town ,Helmsley Castle and for travelling to Castle Howard.the Abby etc .All staff were fabulous and are a credit to the hotel .||

Rooms nice, didn't have the spa as we went to look around locally. Enjoyed the pool and rooms etc. Breakfast decent and good choice.

Thought food for the evening was horrifically over priced, bit embarrassing when the night after we went to the feathers hotel for a meal and 2 courses with drinks came to the same price as 1 course and no drinks. The food was much nicer and servings were more generous at the feathers.
Think overall the feversham only gets the name it has because the rooms are good but the rest isn't upto what you're paying. It's lucky they are in a nice location otherwise it wouldn't be worth it

A wonderful 2 days relaxing at the Feversham Arms, the treatments were first class, the spa and outside area pool and hot tub were clean and inviting. A warm and friendly welcome by all, the evening meal was delicious and the food in the spa tasty and a good choice. The rooms were warm and comfortable - it was a real treat!

Had a spa deal at Verbena Spa. Really welcoming professional staff and very well organised. Lots of spare towels dotted around and water freely available in the cafe. Luxurious interior with heat rooms, steam room and foot spas. If you park in the underground car park, be aware of the 2 metre height restriction!

Just got back from the Feversham Arms Hotel. I cannot understand anyone criticizing the staff. All we had contact with were very pleasant and very helpful. |The room we had was lovely it was a suite which had a separate seating area large balcony and large bathroom with separate bath and shower We had booked a BB with evening meal. Now the food is lovely (especially the twice baked souffle) but the main part of the menu I struggled to find something that I liked (That is me I am a fussy eater). The dessert I feel could have been a little bit larger for the money. All in all we had a lovely overnight stay.
