Very obliging and friendly hosts. Clean and comfortable accomodation. Reasonable and tasty breakfasts overlooking the garden. |Nice touches in the rooms like hand cream and magazines to read. |Hemingford Grey is a lovely village. It has a good general store and an excellent local pub that produces great meals- in a garden setting if you wish. There are lovely walks to do all around and we felt really welcome when we visited. People were only too happy to chat.|We didn’t want to leave!

Whenever I visit Hemming Ford I stay at The Thorpe Guest House. There is always a friendly welcome from Stewart and Nicky. Our room is a good size with a very comfortable bed. Overall excellent facilities and a wide range of options for breakfast. |Definitely a great place to stay and a beautiful area to visit. |Thanks for looking after me. |Nik and his gorgeous new girlfriend Vicky

Just stayed here for 1 night and the place is absolutely amazing . It’s spotlessly clean , warm , comfortable, quiet . The rooms are to a very high standard and the beds are huge , u could roll over 6 times and still be in bed . The kitchen / breakfast area is the best ul find also . The hosts Stewart and his wife (sorry never caught ur name) are so friendly , genuine & caring ppl they just seem so so nice . If I’m ever working in the area again I will not be staying anywhere else and il make sure to book in advance next time . Many thanks Daniel

Very comfortable with a very warm welcome from the owners.||The room was very clean and extremely well furnished . Bathroom huge!||The breakfast freshly cooked and sets you up right for the day.||The location is great , quiet and a lovely walk by the river and a short distance to the local pub.

I do not normally bother to do reviews but in this instance feel it is the least I can do as a way of saying Thankyou to Nicky and Stuart for the way they treated us when we stayed at there guest house. They could not do enough for us, and it is not surprising that they have over 500 5star reviews. I do not need to repeat information that already has been given in previous reviews, only that I fully agree with everything that has been said.

Spacious room with kitchenette. Plenty of space and bathroom with a nice shower.|Personable hosts Stewart and NIcky made us feel welcome. Cooked to order breakfast was excellent! Nice location easy to get to St Ives and nearby towns.|We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Will stay again. Highly recommended!

A really lovely home. It's like staying with tasteful friends. We made reservations just that afternoon when realizing we would need a place for the night. Excellent hosts and a good value. A breakfast made to order awaits you in the morning. I surprised the hosts by requesting an egg-white only scramble, which they'd never heard of it. But they did it and everything was lovely. Would love to come back and finish the conversations!
