I booked a spa deal through spa break - really relaxing experience. Massage was really good. The complimentary coffee and pastries were delicious. The hot chocolate was one of the best ones I’ve had. Will be coming back again for the whole spa experience.

I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend to spend a morning at the spa. Upon entering I felt completely relaxed because of the spa’s whole ambience. The decor and aroma was completely relaxing and the staff were wonderful. We had a couple of hours to spend in the sauna and pool area. The pool had lovely loungers we were able to relax on, to read and chat etc. Then we were both given Swedish massages, I had an amazing massage therapist called Nuriye who took such great care of me. With such amazing attention to detail she included essential oils for me to breathe in gave me an added body brush and massaged my feet before continuing with my massage after asking me the specific areas I’d like her to work on. I almost fell asleep and my half an hour session felt like 45 mins at least. If you go to this spa I urge you to ask for Nuriye specifically so that you can fully enjoy the whole experience.

Friendly check in. Pool area was quite busy during my visit. Lower rate as one of the guests was making some noise and splashing all around, and as there is no supervision you are expected to handle things on your own. This was uncomfortable so we just left.

The spa itself is in great condition and the changing room is lovely with private rooms to get ready in, it was also not oversubscribed which was nice. The Chai by the shore afternoon tea was delicious, thoroughly enjoyable and great service.

But the massage, wasn’t very good at all. The therapists both mine and my partners looked tired and almost like they couldn’t be bothered, a terrible set of Swedish massages. The spa is nice, a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room but lacks the wow factor. The relaxation lounge is nice, but again, the tea selection was awful, no coffee, and the snacks could’ve been a lot better. For these reasons, I give it a 3-4 star. The parking is super experience too coming in at over £30 for 5hrs or so. Not sure I’d return!

We had a relaxing time at the spa. The massage was wonderful.
We had afternoon tea, the staff were lovely. Aleena was very friendly and attentive, we couldn't of asked for better service. The food was very good, some a little sweet for us.

So good, loved the massage and the relaxation room. The swimming pool was nice with a steam, sauna and a jacuzzi aswell and one of those strong shower jets in the jacuzzi. We didn't stay for the coffee and pastries though. Slippers and robe provided. Shower rooms are clean with changing room facilities

My wife visited the spa yesterday and she encountered a patronising unprofessional and rude Indian/asian staff member who was initially going to do her massage treatment. She didn’t want her to continue with the treatment because she looked so miserable upset and sad with her job so then a lovely lady called Nuriye ended up doing her treatment and turned it all around for her. She was really professional and actually seemed like she enjoys her job and wants to be there. The same with Alisha/Alicia who was also really professional and welcoming. Thank you to both.

My husband booked me in for 3 treatments for my birthday which was booked in November, a massage, manicure and a pedicure. when entering the spa we waited at reception for a member of staff to greet us and we must of waited at least 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. We then found out that I have not been given 3 appointment but only one, the massage. After questioning this with the reception and then the head beautician we were told they do not have a member of staff to do the manicure and pedicure and only the massage would be available. After my massage which was absolutely wonderful we approached reception once again and asked what is happening about the other two appointments that was booked in November. The receptionist who was a very abrupt and unwelcoming woman told us they cannot do anything about it and abruptly stomped up the stairs and muttered under her breath. I do not expect to me spoken to the way she spoke to me and my husband in a very unprofessional manner and basically call my husband a liar even though we have emails to prove that we booked in. After going back and forth with her I told her that we will speak to customer service in the hotel as we are VIP clients. No one should have to be spoken to the way she spoke to us. She is a very rude woman and should not be working at a 5 star hotel which we enjoy so much, this woman will be your downfall.

Overall the situation was sorted by friendly customer service and hotel manager who was very helpful, very welcoming and extremely apologetic towards me and my husband. This is a wonderful hotel which we love very much. Please do not let the spa reception change your perspective on such a wonderful hotel.
