\n\n

Location and Accessibility

\n

The hotel's location on Dunstable Road is significant. This major thoroughfare is a key transport route, providing access not only to the town center, including Luton's famous shopping areas like the Pantall Shopping Centre and the Luton Railway Station (a major hub for the Southeast), but also connecting easily to the M1 motorway, a vital artery for travel across the UK. This positioning makes The Luton Hotel an accessible choice for travellers arriving by car, train, or coach, catering to both leisure visitors exploring the nearby Harry Potter Studio Tour (located nearby) or city attractions, and business professionals commuting to nearby offices or distribution centers.

Reputation and User Feedback

\n

Understanding the overall standing of The Luton Hotel is crucial. The establishment maintains a notable online presence, with 198 reviews catalogued on Google My Business. This volume of feedback provides a valuable, albeit sometimes unbalanced, snapshot of guest experiences. The average rating stands at 2.9 out of 5, which suggests that while certain aspects are appreciated, there are significant factors needing consideration for potential visitors.

\n\n

The reviews encompass a range of perspectives. Some individuals, like the person mentioned earlier, utilized the hotel solely for a specific function within its halls and were impressed by the atmosphere and suitability for gatherings, recommending it as a potential event venue. However, this single viewpoint does not represent the entire spectrum of experiences. The lower average rating likely incorporates feedback on aspects beyond event hosting, potentially including the quality and comfort of standard hotel rooms, the level of service provided by staff, the cleanliness and overall condition of the facility, or value for money. For instance, some reviews might implicitly or explicitly mention concerns regarding noise levels, internet connectivity, room amenities, or specific service interactions, although the provided sample lacks such details.

\n\n

For someone searching for information on this hotel, it is recommended to consult the full range of reviews available on platforms like Google My Business for a comprehensive understanding. Prospective guests should consider filtering reviews based on aspects relevant to their needs, whether that's event space suitability, room comfort, or service quality. Comparing The Luton Hotel's offerings and pricing with other accommodations in the Luton area, such as dedicated conference centers, B&Bs, or other hotels, would also be a prudent step before making a booking decision.

\n\n

Booking and Further Information

\n

Booking information can typically be obtained through the hotel's direct channels or via third-party travel websites, although the specific booking link provided in the website address (oyorooms.com) appears to lead to a booking page for this establishment on the OYO Rooms platform, a popular Indian chain of budget hotels and guesthouses with properties worldwide. This suggests The Luton Hotel might be part of or managed in a way compatible with the OYO brand model.

\n\n

While the provided details offer a foundational understanding of The Luton Hotel's location, function, and online reputation, further direct inquiry through their official channels or the booking website would be necessary to obtain precise information regarding room categories, specific amenities, current deals, or any dedicated conference/event facilities beyond the general positive mentions. It is always advisable for guests to contact the hotel directly if they have specific requirements or detailed questions about services and availability.

I only went into the hall to attend a function. I thought it was really nice and pleasant, with a stage and circular tables decorated. Good size for a medium gathering. Worth checking out as a venue for an event. I don’t know any other details about costs or anything else.

Emailed the hotel to let them know we were checking in late due to a late flight into Luton Airport. Arrived at the hotel and was denied check in. Also denied a refund. Website stated 24hr front desk, and had confirmation we would be able to check in at 3am. Terrible customer service from OYO and the staff working the night shift at the hotel. Hotel automatically checked me in and then asked me a day later how my stay was!!!!! Why have a hotel near the airport with an advertised 24hr Front Desk if you don’t accept check in past a certain time!!!! Disgusting

I booked last month to stay here in May and I've just received an email from them to say I'm double booked. We'll I can't believe that it's taken them over a month to realise that they've double booked. They still have rooms available on their website that I could move into. They've cancelled my room as I got it for a normal rate (£150 for 2 nights) and they are now charging £450 for 2 nights. I emailed them to ask why they cancelled my room, why not move me into another, as they have rooms available, but no response! Absolutely awful behaviour from some money hungry manager. They clearly don't care and probably won't even respond to this. But if I put off 1 person from staying with them I've done my bit 😂

Very disappointed. Bad behaviour. Rude staff. Message for the Ladies please stay away. The smell in the room was awful. The bed felt comfortable for a few minutes then the springs where poking my back. Owner himself was very rude. Just grumpy and very fake. Felt like a hurry and get out of here feeling. I didn't feel welcomed. Food was awful. As I was leaving I saw the Owner/Manager and two members of his staff in the car park throwing rubbish over the fence into the gardens of the local residents. They even stood there staring into the windows of one of the houses watching a young girl in her bedroom. I was disgusted. Imagine what they do to their customers. They were literally taking turns walking up and down the car park staring directly into the bedroom of this girl. Is that even allowed in this country? This is harassment. Do they do the same to their female customers staying at their place I wonder. I had to bring this up as I have a wife, sisters and daughters. This place girls should stay well clear of. I was disgusted.

Very friendly staff, my TV was broken, they changed my room straight away. Ordered us a taxi, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable and I slept well. Only downside was on an evening meal the apple crumble was stodgy like raw suet. Breakfast on the other hand was very nice.

It was a decent place to sleep for one night. But I wouldn't choose to go back if I could help it. The room was a bit grimy, but it wasn't smoky or anything. The shower didn't drain, and the guest parking was a bit of a mess. Overall, not the worst place ever. They have made an attempt to update the place. There are just a lot of cut corners.
