We went to Loaf in Sandgate for breakfast and had a great experience. We tried the Chicken Mayo Cheese Toastie and the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Bagel, along with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The flavours were well balanced, and the ingredients tasted high quality. A perfect spot to start your day with a satisfying breakfast. Highly recommended!

A really cute, nice, local-vibed cafè right behind the beach. We’ve had a berried smoothie and for once it was not just an industrial made thing. It was an actual mix of berries, delicious and simple! Loads of delicious pastries as well and n friendly staff 🙂 recommended! Oh and it’s pet friendly!

What a great little cafe in Sandgate. We popped in after walking the dogs for Sunday brunch. Very dog friendly.

Small menu but delicious. We all opted for toasties and they were tasty but be warmed, they are big.

They make a great selection of fresh smoothies.

Value for money and highly recommend this place. £42 for 4 adults.

A Perfect Breakfast Spot for Dog Lovers

We had the pleasure of visiting Loaf in Folkestone, and it exceeded all expectations. We had the Bacon Ciabatta and Bagel which was tasty, fresh peppermint tea with real leaves and the coffee was top-notch too, perfectly brewed and a great complement to the meal.

What makes Loaf even more special is how dog-friendly it is. They welcome dogs with open arms, providing a cozy atmosphere where your furry friend feels just as valued as you do. It’s such a relief to find a spot where you can relax and enjoy a meal without worrying about leaving your dog behind.

Another highlight is the location—just a short walk from the beach. It’s the perfect spot to refuel after a morning stroll along the coast.

I recently visited an amazing coffee shop, and it truly exceeded expectations! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that made it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee itself was rich and flavorful, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return!

It's ok. Pancakes are absolutely fine and the coffee is rich and smooth. Pricing is about right for that area and service was efficient. However, there's something about babies crying while small dogs bark at each other inside the restaurant that I don't like..can't think what...Also, I'm not a fan of the 'no plates' movement. I like toast/food on a plate. Happy that my pancakes were on a plate! It is for those reasons that I don't think I'll go back. Thanks all the same.
