This was my second time at Night Pastures. The first time we were camping and this time we decided to go upmarket with a yurt. |It was such a lovely treat. Beech was perfect and had everything we needed. The perfect 'getaway from everything' weekend, we spent most of our time walking or just sitting looking at the beautiful view.

We had a lovely stay at Nightpastures over the Easter weekend in April. The location is beautiful and peaceful – exactly what we were hoping for. It was really quiet during our visit, which made for a very relaxing break.||The facilities are quite basic but more than adequate, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.||We’d definitely consider coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape.

Just the most silent place you could stay. Idyllic. So much nature to walk/cycle/run around in. The exact middle of nowhere you need. All services are eco/off grid which worked fine for me. You need dvds and a laptop because internet is ok at best. I had EE and 3, but depends where you were on site. Take a DAB radio and a book!

Camped just one night (in Dandelion pitch) with two friends on a bike tour and very much enjoyed my stay. The pitch was very nice and sufficient for all 3 of us. The way the whole site was set up was very nice with pitches well spaced and the long grasses attracting plenty of butterflies. The chap looking after the site was very friendly and helpful. The toilets and washing facilities were clean and well maintained and absolutely fine. Some noise from the aircraft overhead but otherwise quiet. I would certainly be happy to camp there again.

Night Pastures is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The field is well looked after and laid out beautifully with a decent distance between plots. They provide all utensils and facilities needed for a stress free stay. Rustic and environmentally friendly bathrooms are kept clean and do the job perfectly. Will definitely return! Thank you 🙂

We stayed 2 nights at Night Pastures and it completely exceeded our exceptions!

Roy was always around on hand and an absolute legend. Literally the nicest guy and nothing was too much to ask for.
The campsite is beautiful! The views are exceptional. The way the site is set out means that you have so much privacy. We loved the rustic nature of the facilities. They were clean, the showers were hot and we loved the compost loos.

Really excited to come back. This is going to be a firm favourite in our future camping endeavours.

Peaceful camping area, back to basics, back to nature. The camping area was huge, we didn't realise there were yurts and tents on the other side until we began walking around the site. The area in between pitches is left fallow and creates a wonderful savanna aesthetic, the heat during g our stay added to that effect. We wanted to rest and were happy to use the hobs and grill to cook food. There are some wooded areas with communal campfire by a stream, with a couple of well maintained tree swings. A great place to let go of technology and recharge. Our yurt, kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the owner, sorry can't remeber your name, was just lovely.

We recently had a lovely experience at Night Pastures.||As a group of four friends (women, 20s-30s) we really enjoyed our stay. Roy, the site manager, was friendly and accommodating, and had no problem with a few additional friends who live near the campsite coming to visit during the daytime. We are all from the countryside so weren't bothered by the rural location or lack of phone signal - this is truly an off grid experience, so you won't enjoy your stay if you want access to anything and everything in an instant! One USB port in the yurt (we stayed in Chestnut Yurt) and a solar powered shower means you can't blowdry your hair or take a luxurious bath, but isn't that what an off grid stay is all about?||We found Night Pastures a good place to switch off and chill for the weekend. It's a campsite at the end of the day - nothing is perfect- but the BBQ, gas cooker, bathroom, sink, beds etc were all functional and the vibe is very rustic. We'll be back!
