Booked a Villa and it was amazing. 2 bedrooms all clean and suitable for my family. There is a kitchen which we were able to cook on oir 2nd day. We were able to book slots for their pool and use the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We had breakfast the first day a bit pricey but I guess thats a standard price for this kind of hotel. All the staffs are amazing, nice and accomodating nothing is a bother. The lady in reception ,in the pool and Richard on our check out are all assets of this place. Highly recommended and we would love to come back if visiting Fowey again. There are lots of places to go nearby.

What a lovely place! To be fair, the hotel looks tired in places, but the ambience and history make up for that. The staff, Abi and Ash in particular, were amazing and managed hospitality between them on a busy Saturday night. The pool area and changing rooms were immaculate and the pool was a good temperature. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and lovely for a walk and there is masses to do if you travel a few miles out from the hotel. Will we be back? You bet!!

Stayed at Trenython Manor for two nights as a birthday getaway. While the location is absolutely lovely — close to several charming pubs, restaurants, and beaches, and only about 15 minutes from the Eden Project — the stay itself was a bit of a mixed bag.||Due to limited availability when booking, we ended up in a family room. It’s great for those with kids, featuring a double bedroom and a separate room with bunk beds. However, there were a few drawbacks. The bathroom was functional, but the bath was very shallow, and the towel rail was constantly hot — which felt quite unsafe, especially in a family-oriented room. The bedroom doors were heavy fire doors that I found difficult to open, and we were located on the second floor — which, because of the high ceilings, felt more like the third or fourth — with no lift access. The room was up in the rafters, likely part of the old servant quarters, with slanted ceilings that aren’t ideal for taller guests.||The old-style windows barely opened, and one rattled in the wind, so we had to wedge paper into it to stop the noise. The view was mostly blocked by a high wall right outside the window, which was a bit disappointing. Also, there was a lack of bedside power outlets. That said, the TV was great for unwinding, with access to all the major streaming apps.||Parking is limited right outside the hotel and is intended only for loading/unloading. The main car park is a short walk away, which wasn’t too bad for us, but worth noting for anyone with mobility issues or lots of luggage.||The leisure facilities were a definite highlight — pool, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi were all clean and enjoyable, and they even have mini spin-dryers for your swimwear. Just note that guests need to book sessions in advance. It wasn’t an issue for us (midweek and off-season — we even got to extend into a second session), but I imagine it could get crowded during peak times. The hotel advertises two pools and two jacuzzis, though we only saw one of each.||I also had a massage at the on-site spa, and the therapist was lovely and did a fantastic job — a real highlight of the stay.||Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with great amenities and an ideal location for exploring the area. However, a few room-related and access issues did take away from the overall experience. With a few updates, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

Attended a wedding at Trenython Manor and it was a truly memorable day/night. The staff were wonderful, the food was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful venue for a wedding. Our room, 109 was absolutely perfect. The sea view was glorious, exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable bed and shower was great! The venue itself is stunning, lovely gardens and plenty of parking. Thank you for a wonderful day.

We were a group of fifty people staying for two nights on a db&b basis. Selim Boztepe, the manager, and his team went out of their way to make sure al our needs were met. They were absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. |The hotel is beautiful, set in lovely grounds with the dining room, terrace and some bedrooms overlooking the sea in the distance. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable.|The food was delicious, they even managed to cook steak for 49 of us, no mean feat ! I can thoroughly recommend a stay in this lovely hotel.

This is a beautiful old Manor House with a lot of History. The internal architecture is truly magnificent. And the Hotel has been up kept to a high standard. The dining room has wonderful panelling & stunning views across St Austell Bay. There is a Spa which uses lovely Templspa products. Do book treatments before you arrive as it’s very popular. The grounds are so nice. Lots of lovely walks. Plenty of wildlife to see. There are lodges available which will suit families. The only downside is there is no lift for upper level rooms. It would spoil the building to install. So if you have mobility issues do tell them when you book. The staff are happy to take bags to rooms. Breakfast was plentiful. Everything was spotlessly clean & staff were extremely well mannered & polite. The management & his team work hard to give you the best stay. Although in the countryside the Hotel is ideally placed for Heligan, the Eden Project, Charlestown, Mevagissey, Truro & has good connecting roads. It’s also a great place to just unwind.

This place has just ruined itself, I hope you all understand my disappointment, we have just arrived back to the hotel to find out half of it we are not able to use, due to a wedding party (not the wedding partys fault) this is the fault of the management, we were not informed nor any consideration for not being able to use the main bar,bar area or 50% of the hotel patio infront ,or our balcony due the music under it (again not the wedding partys fault),and yet the hotel receptionist doesn't get why we are disgruntled and quote 'don't see what your problem is'. I get business need to diversify, but the poor management of this situation and customers relations has a lot to be desired.
