Camelford is ideally located for visiting the many attractions of north Cornwall and Chandler’s Lodge is the perfect place to stay while doing so. This beautiful Victorian structure has been thoughtfully converted into a charming B&B, and you're welcomed with genuine hospitality from Rob and Natalie. ||If you're unfamiliar with the area, Rob is more than happy to guide you with personalised recommendations for local sites and restaurants. His advice was valuable during our stay. | |The rooms are modern, cosy and immaculately clean, with tasteful decor and thoughtful touches. Coffee and tea facilities are provided, along with a smart TV offering Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney +. The luxury toiletries, included vegan options, add another touch of comfort. ||To call the breakfast generous would be an understatement. You can choose from a traditional Cornish or English breakfast, and I particularly loved the homemade bread. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and breakfast is ordered in advance to help reduce waste.||If you need accommodation exploring this part of Cornwall, Chandler’s should be where you stay, and if it's fully booked, mores the pity. There are very good reasons why Chandler’s Lodge has received so many thank you cards and earned the SME Southern Enterprise Award for best Modern B&B in 2024. Book ahead!

Absolutely fantastic stay at Chandler's lodge. Rob and Nat are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much for them. We appreciated that they made their property very environmentally friendly. Rooms are clean and have everything you need, including tea and coffee. Best B&B we ever stayed at. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming family owned BnB! Rob and Nat were incredibly hospitable and kind, the rooms and dining space were comfortable and very thoughtfully appointed!! There were many thoughtful details which enhanced the experience that much more. Gourmet coffee and tea available at anytime as well as absolutely deliciously prepared breakfast, which our son completely devoured! We would wholeheartedly recommend this place again and again! We definitely plan to be back upon our next visit to Cornwall. My son said it best “10 out of 5 stars!!”

We couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were spotless, the food was fantastic, Rob and Nat were the perfect hosts and us and our dog were made to feel very welcome.
The (inclusive) breakfast was so big I reluctantly had to cut back what I had but thereafter Rob checked our requirements every day to ensure we had exactly what we wanted. He even sourced some great steaks which weren't on the menu when my wife and I couldn't agree on what we wanted to eat one evening.
Rob and Nat passed on tips about parking at various locations and provided valuable information on places to visit, eat and drink and generally couldn't do enough for us.
Sadly there isn't a great deal to do in Camelford, (although there is a fantastic fish & chip shop), but it does provide a good base, with Tintagel only a few minutes drive away.
The next time we are staying in Cornwall we will definitely stay at Chandler's Lodge and thoroughly recommend it without hesitation.

We recently stayed at Chandlers Lodge B&B for a quick weekend break. The rooms were clean, presented well and fully equipped with everything you need including a selection of hot drinks. The highlight of our stay was Rob’s generous hospitality - nothing was too much trouble! He is also an amazing cook! There was a plentiful choice at breakfast and we selected the Cornish breakfast which we would highly recommend as it was tasty and cooked and presented to perfection! We also tried the burgers in the evening which were equally delicious! Would have no hesitation to recommend staying here as the accommodation and service you receive is excellent value for money!

Friends and I stayed for three nights from Friday 4th April at this delightful B&B in Camelford, Cornwall. The weather was exceptionally good for the time of year — a rare treat in England — but what truly made the weekend unforgettable was Rob and Nat’s warm welcome, generous spirit, and genuine hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. Rob and Nat went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible — offering brilliant local recommendations, thoughtful touches, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that was second to none.

The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and supremely comfortable — a perfect blend of charm and practicality. Every detail, from the crisp bed linen to the delicious breakfasts, reflected real care and attention.

Chandlers Lodge is ideally located for exploring the stunning Cornish coast, with scenic walks, hidden beaches, and quaint villages all within easy reach.

In short, this was one of the most enjoyable B&B stays I’ve had in years — and we’re already talking about when we might return. A gem of a place, run by two absolute stars.

Gorgeous stay at Chandlers Lodge this weekend. My room was clean and well presented. Loved additional little touches like a couple of bed trays and a little entrance hall. Rob and Nat are amazing hosts and breakfast was delicious every day. Loved loved loved the homemade yogurt too. Would highly recommend.

A great friendly place to stay . Light airy comfortable rooms. Breakfast so yum and we had supper one night , where we shared a pizza , along with salad and home made chunky chips . |Rob pointed us in the direction of attractions we wished to see , with helpful hints for parking. Our visit to Port William for the sunset and dinner on the Monday night was a bonus. Would love to spend more time here.
