This is the most elegant and well appointed B&B we've stayed. Welcoming and cozy with so many lovely details. Terry robes/slippers/any potential need for bathing comfort. The tea setup in the room helped us warm up after a day of walking in the 'mizzle'. Excellent breakfast with a view of the gorgeous garden. We really appreciated being able to purchase a lunch for our continued walk of the South Downs Way.

This B&B is imacculate and top quality in terms of facilities and an excellent breakfast. Beautiful house and garden, it is situated just about a 1km off the South Downs Way which means it would be ideal for a night stop over if you are walking this long distance path. However not if you are a cyclist on this trail and it had been raining, we didn't feel comfortable with the hospitality on arrival and this somewhat spoilt the begining of our stay. I would recommend to other types of guests as our host was chatty at breakfast and this made up for it.

Great B&B, very comfortable room, with meticulous attention to detail. Having walked all day on the south Downs Way in very hot conditions host was waiting with iced water. After a very good nights sleep we had a fabulous breakfast made with high quality products. Great experience

Beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable b & b. Small attention to detail that made all the difference to an absolutely enjoyable stay. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Owners really can’t do enough for you to ensure a great stay! This b & b is convenient for events at Goodwood. Buses ran between the town of Midhurst and the city of Chichester. We were able to park at Chichester station and get the shuttle to Goodwood, then get a bus back to the b & b. Alternatively if you are much more organised, there is parking at the b & b and organise a taxi, but pre-book as local taxi companies get booked up quickly!

Excellent b&b. Very spacious, excellent beds, lots of details to make the stay comfortable, very compleet. A warm welcome from the host, who serves a delicious cooked breakfast to taste with all kinds of fresh fruit and again eye for detail. Breakfast is downstairs in a room overlooking the lovely garden. We went on our South Downs Way well rested and fed and with a very complete packed lunch prepared for us.

Lovely two night stay in this quiet, v clean and comfortable B&B. Sylvie and her husband were v welcoming, providing everything we needed, including delicious breakfasts overlooking their beautiful garden and local recommendations for evening meals. Special thanks too for arranging parking with kindly neighbours, as our (low) sports car would have struggled to fit on the sloping driveway.

This was the perfect place to stay whilst completing the south downs way from Winchester to Eastbourne. Such a nice welcome from Sylvia and not far from the walkway at all. Infact there was a bus stop a stones throw from the house to the walk if you didn't want the extra 20mins walk. Also Sylvia helped us out by providing information on where to go in Midhurst to visit a pharmacy for some very much needed blister plasters and bandages and even helped strap my feet up the following morning before our next days walk! The room was lovely, really big and comfortable and very clean. Private bathroom with shower and bath if needed. Lots of little touches too around the room, including a kettle and teabags, 2 little chocolates, dressing gowns and slippers. Its a real home from home! We opted to eat at the nearby Bluebell Inn which had good food and was in walking distance and Sylvia made us a wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning which was yummy. We didn't opt for the packed lunch as we had supplies but it was offered. Slyvia asked us to keep in touch to see how the rest of the walk went, which was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

We spent a night in luxury here mid way along a South Downs Way bikepacking trip. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, and Sylvie couldn't have been a kinder or more welcoming host. The included breakfast set us up perfectly for the day and the packed lunches for £7.50 were an added convenience. Highly recommended.
