Visited for lunch with my wife, mother and dog. Greeted with a lovely smile by the young lady behind the bar( Did not get her name had tattoos on one arm). Somewhat disappointed visit. We ordered 2 specials menu of Fisherman's salad with Rocket. A piece of poached salmon, small bundle of rocket leaves and small amount of potato salad. 1 slice of lemon to share. Forgot the prawns, queried it so got a small pot of prawns each. Guinness zero, approx 2/3rd of pint. Bill came to £53. Nice venue, location. Friendly staff. Though, it was on the main meal section, I think you could improve the offering whilst still maintaining a healthy profit margin. I interpreted the salad with rocket as being a bit more substantial on the salad side. Salmon was tasty.

We had a fabulous time! The food was superb, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Anna was lovely and so was all the other staff members and the manager was so welcoming when we arrived! Our room was perfect. The view was amazing of the Isle of White and was just beautiful get away for a birthday celebration.

Went for a family dinner. On the plus side the location is amazing and the staff very pleasant and helpful. I ordered liver and bacon from the specials menu. It came with different vegetables than those described (no problem) but no bacon. Pointed this out and eventually got a couple of rashers that had obviously been cooked by dropping into the deep fat friar. The liver was beautifully cooked however although the whole dish was only warm and had obviously been lingering in the kitchen for a while. Child's menu macaroni with tomato sauce was tasteless so we ordered a child's burger to replace but were charged for both. The other two meals were burger and chips and were ok. In summary meal was disappointing and the quality was not what you'd expect for the price.

Lovely views from this restaurant with ample outdoor seating for the warmer weather. Service great and our needs for our anxious dog was warmly accommodated. The food was lovely and the portions very generous too. Would recommend if you are in the area. Excellent fish and chips and a lovely catch of the day sampled. Burgers are huge but delicious, managed to eat most of it… for the fish and chips we were able to take half away for later on so no waste!

Went there for lunch today and I enjoyed a fresh citrus salad with honey grilled chicken and a side order of truffled fries, which was a perfect accompaniment. This along with a fresh pineapple drink came to £31.00. All of which was provided with a sea view and pleasant service. I think this is the kind of popular place you want to come back to. On a sunny Tuesday the restaurant was full, so having not booked, considered myself very lucky.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. There is an excellent and varied menu along with a specials menu. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Can recommend any fish items. Lovely outdoor seating with a great view of the bay. There is also a bar menu with plenty of choice.

Excellent food, freshly cooked and hot. Presentation of food was good as was the service staff with a welcoming and friendly attitude.Complimentary fizz for our anniversary which was very much appreciated. Great views out to sea.Parking.Would recommend you won’t be disappointed.Keep up the good work chef..
